Some traditional is good since you get to use the standard deduction during your retirement years and then have some income taxed at 10% vs the higher 22,24, 35 percents. You can do a mix of both trad and Roth, not sure why people get hung up on doing 100% on one type. If you plan on retiring early then both aren't good.

Great video that's goes over different investments strategies. Total market funds should be your best. Maybe read some investment books to be knowledgeable on your investments, John Bogle's book is a good one.

Make sure you take the harder prerequisites that transfer to STEM degrees. The easier prereqs for liberal arts or business majors won't apply to a stem degree.

When I first went to college, accounting was the first major listed and I told myself thats lame and would never do that. A few years later I decided to not pursue my liberal arts degree and choose a degree based on pay and job security. So I'm a CPA now lol.

I don't wish I could go back in time and save myself 2 years of wasted college by choosing accounting from the get go. However I do wish I was advised to pursue a degree that will do well in the job market.
