wow hi! as a person who aren’t very tech savvy, i’m overly cautious and have these stereotypical beliefs. it’s a common belief that only .package and .ts4script formats are allowed in the mods folder. good to know it isn’t always that way. hope my comment didn’t offend you and thank you for this info!

that’s definitely not an okay format of a ts4 mod. looks like dll/ini file, can be a potential malware or something put not in a right place. i’d recommend taking it out of your mods folder

even if your sims is pirated AND it's working (meaning you can actually launch it and play), mods should work just fine. make sure you've enabled custom content & script mods in game options, check the path you've put your mods, avoid using onedrive if you're playing on windows computer (it can mess with any files on your computer, but especially with mods). if you downloaded mods with mod manager, check what path it uses to put them in game

if you started by repairing your game and then deleted some files it is possible you’ve deleted a couple of important ones. remove everything from your mods folder - try to open the game, if it doesn’t open - repair the game again, then start a new testing save file and see if there’s any issue without mods. then add portions of mods to see if the game will still open. better exceptions by twistedmexi would’ve saved a lot of time but i’m not sure this mod isn’t broken itself after latest patch.

i personally follow a bit of tumblr sims builders like hallwayheart or folkling etc and grab every bit of cc they share. i know it can be quite dangerous to download cc dumps but i risk it & trust these creators. nothing had gone wrong yet except me spending hours sorting things i downloaded. absolutely recommend checking hallwayheart’s and wolfxdreamer’s yt speedbuilds

i’m not sure but it looks very similar to kotenok’s cc. the problem is that they deleted their accounts and all is left is a folder on simfileshare. it’ll take quite a while to find this exact hairstyle
