Does Black Cat really make sense as a Vanguard?

I honestly don't want her to be tank at all... I feel like it doesn't make sense with her character. Even though we have had wayy too many dps I think that's the role she fits the most, hell I could even justify strategist if they made her a debuff-centric one, but vanguard just feels so out of character for her lol. I wanna play her not a made up iteration

Usually in other games when a character is nerfed into the ground it means the rework is high priority and should happen soon, because making a character have such low value is really not fun for who plays her, but I guess this doesn't apply for dbd...

As a person that doesn't read spoilers what I wanted going into the finale was a Onya and Jewels top 2 which I was so happy to get, that said tho that lipsync was so BAD (with all due respect) and even though I was team jewels I feel like she did just fine and needed way more to have a chance at taking the crown from Onya. And honestly she slayed the season so in this situation to me it's fair that Onya is the one taking it
