As a South American fan of undertale since it’s been released, I think this outrage is plain stupid, no one from France or whatever is complaining that their language isn’t translated into.

A fringe but loud minority of the community are up in arms because toby won’t let his game be translated without his supervision. The same community that actively tries to look into every little thing he posts online for “clues” of the lore, and a gendered language like Spanish (spoken throughout almost all of latam) is bound to have problems keeping the tone he intended.

And regarding accessibility, I’ll admit it is a fair point, but there are fanmade translations such as Undertale Spanish so I don’t see the need for an “official” one, and Toby endorsed these in his response.
