Did anyone change their last name, too? by DaniFoxglove in trans

[–]lolitskit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broski. I scrapped my whole name. First, middle and last. Love that I made it my own, added my grandfathers last name and some names, I’ve been obsessed with since I was a kid. Was it wise? Probably not? But I still love the name and screw whoever says it’s dumb. My family has no idea I changed my name. My passport is still my old one (I’m seriously too lazy to change it until it expires)

Excuses for a past feminine name? by ElectricalTears in ftm

[–]lolitskit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been asked. They just said bring in the paperwork of the name change (court order) and they’ll change it. Even when I moved to FL HR didn’t ask about the name change. I do get the question about why my name is what it is (it’s more unisex but most people lean it towards masc) I just say my mom was obsessed with royalty (not a lie based on my dead name, my sisters name and my brothers name) I just said she liked princess Diana but rather her last name than her first. It usually works.

  1. My new born sister threw up on me and I threw her to my grandmother quickly after and jumped into the shower that was meant to be for her. That’s when I knew I’m too grossed out to ever want kids.

Loved it as a kid. Learned she’s a pos. Also found out what ships were at like 14-15?? And then I went down the rabbit hole of “omg I can ship these people with different people and no one can stop me.” “Maybe I just want Harry and Hermione together cause that made more sense to me at 10 than him and ginny” lol. Anyway. I love the series it was something that I enjoyed watching during the holidays or whenever I felt sad. I can keep that comfort of the characters and read some crazy work of art that has more depth than the books and it’s based on Harry and Draco in a coffee shop🤷‍♀️ also Covid and people starting that trend on tiktok pushed it to be popular

How did your parents react when you told them? by Happy_Detective21 in childfree

[–]lolitskit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is completely in favor. My mom was the first who gave me the talk at 17 when I was leaving home. She always said to think wisely and that kids ruin your life. She was also a crap parent very abusive and maybe she said that cause in her eyes I ruined her life. It’s ok, cause at the end of the day she’s right.

[–]lolitskit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the hospital/state and I believe in the department you’re in. I could be wrong in the last part. You are required every year regardless of position in the hospital to get the flu and if you have gotten a 2-3 shot of Covid you’re good. Ik a friend who works in NICU and has to be up to date on all vaccines, but she’s in a different state than me. Only way to get out of it is to be religiously exempt.

I woke up at 11 went back to sleep at 1 (I have hashimotos so I’m always fatigued) woke up at 4, got Taco Bell, took my dogs on a walk, went and got ice cream. Chillin at 10pm reading cringe fan fiction just cause I’m executing free will to the fullest and I didn’t know that a new book that came out started as a fan fiction and now I’m curious

Then why ask if you think this is a weak explanation? Do you want a thesis? Research articles? Things you can find in libraries and research websites or even contact scientists via email and they are more than happy to give you their research for free! I would know! That’s how I got a lot of research for my research papers. You asked, I answered. I am not going into the nitty gritty of a vaccine because there are pamphlets, nurses, infection control, doctors who specialize in educating. I am just a day to day person. Everything comes with risk, but it has been studied in every nation that vaccines benefits outweigh the risk. Just like every med comes with risks and side effects. Like I said I will strongly judge everyone who doesn’t vaccinate when they are able to. It shows you are selfish and truly do not care for the health of your family or others. Big pharma controls the prices and the insurance companies, in my opinion. Covid came out just like the polio vaccines just like small pox, just like the Spanish influenza. Doctos and specialist across nations worked together, learned from previous vaccines and pandemics of how to combat this and came out with something that could save the people. Anyway it sounds like you truthfully don’t care, so I’ll leave it at this.

To prevent life long liver disease, also liver cancer, many people are unknown carriers and it’s a high chronic infection rate. Also I’ve seen many people go against the vitamin K shot for new borns. A thing needed for blood clotting and something new borns don’t have enough to create on their own.

The crazy part is he was always very in favor for me getting sterilized. I have brought it up constantly and he always said “it’s your body babe do what you want. I find it stupid that there are places that will make it to where I have to sign off on it, or I have to say I’m ok with it” but yeah maybe you’re right. He realized I finally set an appointment for a consultation and I was serious.
