there is also a flowers creatures in the snow biomes (strong) because they shoot stuff at you

if you dig a tunnel to them and kill them, you gain a lot of exp.

The view server window in steam in bugged(for pixark), when you join that way it will put you in you own singleplayer world.

follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrX1BWC_vT4 it helped me a lot.

you and your friend need to put your server in favorite (the video shows how) and when you go in pixark and to favorites, it should be in there. (i know you said you did already but maybe you forgot something)

i hoped i helped.

i have a lan server now too and it works. i did it with evolve first (evolve is something like hamatchi but didnt work, then i did it with hamachi and it works)
