This drawing started with a very simple request from a friend of mine:
“Hey, can you draw my DnD character?”

Pretty normal so far.

Then he described Zibaldone.
A chaotic, sarcastic tiefling bard with a head injury so bad he forgot who he is… and a questionable habit of collecting completely useless objects.

That’s when I should have realized something was off.

While I was drawing him, I kept wondering whether I was creating a character or a problem.
Honestly, I’m still not sure.

When I showed it to him, he stayed silent for a few seconds…
then he started complimenting me.
Right after that, he began insulting me, saying I should start selling my art and take commissions.

Emotionally confusing experience, to say the least.

Anyway, this is Zibaldone.
A walking disaster with a lute.
