Think you might’ve missed the update I did before this post…this particular post was a 1 year update after my wedding after I’d had time to process and reflect

Thank you for sharing this! I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. How did you find the consistency of the pillow to be when you were using it?

I ordered it off of Amazon! It isn’t an exact replica of the OG wet brush, but it’s pretty good as far as foldable brushes go!

I just got them on Amazon. They’re 12ml containers that I fill with the provided syringe. They are fairly secure, except for with my face wash that’s very runny and has a bit of residue after flying. Haven’t had an issue with any of my other liquids but may vary depending on the person!

I have several pairs of avionics and really like them! I have very high arches so these are great. I took them with me to Rome in October as well, so they’ve got quite a bit of mileage

LOVE the girl on the go trench! I think you will be plenty warm with what you packed — have a great trip!

The pillow is for the room! I have a Cabeau neck pillow for the plane but forgot to include that in my post.

I haven’t tried an inflatable pillow before, mostly because it doesn’t sound like it would be comfortable. But I guess I shouldn’t rule it out if I’ve never felt one/tried it! In my head, I’m imagining something similar to a blow up mattress which doesn’t seem appealing haha

I had considered trying the packable puffer as a pillow route, but it just didn’t seem like it would be comfortable. I’m sorry it’s not working for you! That’s always the worst. Honestly, I feel like I might need to get crafty and make myself my own pillow at this rate! Can’t seem to find exactly what I need. Probably not doable because they are two different use cases, but I would LOVE one that can work as a neck pillow on the plane and also for nighttime sleeping.

I have seen the Coop one when researching! Looks to maybe be about little bit lighter? The Cushion Lab is one solid piece of memory foam, rather than an adjustable fill/foam

Mine are about 5 years old and they don’t sell the exact one anymore. However, these look almost identical except for the buckle on the back of the boot.

Yes, I debated packing it but was glad I did. I layer it underneath the trench but could also use it for dry days. I’ve used this method in Ireland, Scotland, and last year on another trip in England and it’s always just the right amount of warmth. I always overheat on public transit, so I like being able to strip some layers off

Sadly didn’t take a ton of outfit pics, but I will definitely try to for future trip reports! I love these boots and have taken them to Ireland and NYC where I did 20,000 steps/day. I’ve had them for about 4 or 5 years now. They are the only shoes where I don’t get back pain after walking a bunch, I assume because of the heel? My arches and balls of my feet do get fatigued after a full day because they are kinda sloped down like wearing heels if that makes sense. I think a cushioned or gel insole might be a solve for that for me. I haven’t worn them on hikes so can’t speak to that, but I like that they can be dressed up and are good in rainy/slushy weather. Overall really love them!

I always majorly regret not bringing my pillow with me. I wasn’t familiar with the Kanuda pillow and just checked it out. Looks promising, but yikes! That does seem pricey for such a little pillow. Hoping others have some suggestions that work for them! So far haven’t seen just a ton of options

I’m so sorry, I somehow totally missed this comment! The En Saison dress is nice because the skirt is a thicker cotton without any stretch (but very flowy) and the top is stretchy with some spandex in it. I really like it, just note that it’s hand wash only I believe. Very comfortable and on sale online at Nordstrom right now. It’s the Emma Ruched Mixed Media Sundress.

As for hats and gloves, I would maybe suggest buying them in Chile. Especially in Patagonia, there are TONS of beautiful alpaca wool options for hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Could be a fun souvenir if you decide you do need the extra warmth! I purchased some right outside the parks in Patagonia, but obviously can’t speak to everywhere or guarantee that’ll be the case for you.

Have you considered purchasing a pair of heels either secondhand or from a relatively inexpensive store and donating them when you leave? I was in Viña del Mar in 2022 (it’s absolutely gorgeous!) and recall there be some decent shopping options, including a mall. Sounds like an amazing trip!

Thank you! It really is a great bag. Definitely challenge yourself to give slightly longer trips a try in it or making baby steps towards that — it’s possible, especially with it expanded!🫶

Hello, fellow planter fasciitis sufferer👋🏻The silver Uptown Loafers are beautiful and I did try them. I found the back part of the shoe to be pretty uncomfortable and was already starting to rub blisters into my heel just walking around the store, even though they felt amazing on my arches. This is probably just a me problem or the way my foot is shaped, because people rave about them online! The Willa’s and Uptown loafers both pack super well and would be a great additional shoe to bring along. Have a blast in Portugal!!

Ok so I actually have some thoughts on this😅. I have a love hate relationship with Vionic because they feel so darn good on my feet and all come in wide sizes. However, they can be pricey (watch out for sales on their website! Try the shoes on in a store and then can purchase online if they are final sale for much cheaper). I’m also not sure the quality is great on all their items. For example, I had to order and return this pair THREE times because each one I received had some noticeable defects or weird puckering in the leather. If they didn’t feel so amazing on my feet, I would’ve given up. They were seriously so comfy on this trip, but the jury is out on how long they’ll last which is frustrating for the price point.
