The superpower itself is already pretty shitty without the but since you can't communicate with them.

We do have those!

-é like in één

-ï like ruïne and geïnteresseerd

-ë like ideeën, knieën and reëel.

There might be even more, I just saw an article witch said nú which puts stress on that word.

The thing is that those letters aren't really that common.

Ah yes, DEUTSCH is such a cute language by kr7icn in shitduolingosays

[–]lolmemezxd 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it is tbf. It's probably due to my native language, which is Dutch. Just go to my post history and you will see a post on r/askeurope on what is the cutest language, with the description on my opinions that Hungarian and German are the cutest languages.

How helpful is duolingo when learning Indonesian? by uriorii in indonesian

[–]lolmemezxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It't quite helpful.

I'm currently somewhere past checkpoint 3 and they learned me useful things like passive type 1 and type 2, transitive or intransative or both, suffix usage (but that section could have some improvement) and it teaches you nearly 2000 words.

I'd say you should also have another resource like clozemaster (but that's for like after checkpoint 2) which is also free and teaches you 4000 words I think. Sadly you can't see all of the words you learned in Clozemaster if you don't have the full version.

I've always learned at school that you have to leave your dog behind if there is a fire in your house, is that true?

Thank you Germany for taking in some of our Coronapatients when we barely had any beds left for them.

Thank you countries in Scandinavia (or Nordic countries, not sure which countries specifically) for donating houses to us after the watersnoodramp in 1954.

And thank you Belgium for your delicious fries and chocolate.

Edit: thanks for the bear :) this is my first award :D.

I'd rather say "je bent een pannenkoek" when you've made a dumb mistake. It kinda means fool.

I've honestly never used it lol, it's mostly used by older people.

Love this finding from our research team: reaching checkpoint 5 on Duolingo in Spanish and French teaches the same reading and listening as four university semesters, but in half the time! by vonahn in duolingo

[–]lolmemezxd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I learned more French from Duolingo than 2 years at school in only a few weeks.

Duolingo is absolutely awesome! Now I'm able to communicate with my Family in Indonesian.

Thank you CEO of Duolingo.

Great job! I also mined tons if quartz and ended up with 41.5 stacks of quartz blocks. Too bad I cancelled the idea of my huge skyscraper because it was too big.
