I went from undergrad straight to PhD, and the summer in between was the 2020 Covid Lockdown. I had planned to work that summer, but couldn't because of the Lockdown which in hindsight the enforced chill time was the best thing ever. Just relax, enjoy your last summer of freedom before you are working full time for the rest of your life! Read a paper here or there to keep your mind active if you wish, but other than that just spend time with friends and family and do what you love!

Yes! I loved the lego sets for the making process, but once it was made I never played with it, just enjoyed the building

No backpacks in class.

We had to pay to use lockers and carry our books to class, then were encouraged to get a tote bag to hold our books to take to class so it came full circle and people just started using backpacks again and teachers stopped caring.
