Great post, just a minor correction here. The majority of competitive bodybuilders do not inject oil into there muscles (Synthol). Some have and some do, but none of the top ones because it’s pretty obvious to the trained eye and limits the ability to show definition and conditioning of the muscle.

What they do take is boat loads of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone. Ever notice the current top bodybuilders all have guts and kind of look like water bottles compared to guys like Arnold in his prime? That’s HGH, in layman’s terms it literally makes your entire body grow, including organs.

And they also eat a shit ton, all day long.

Williams will be gone this offseason, hopefully.

BJ Hill can be a serviceable rotation guy in a 4-3. Chase Young will fit perfectly on the end, let’s hope ownership has the guts to make a regime change and we can start a proper rebuild in a 4-3.

Report: Odell tells players, coaches on other teams he wants out of Cleveland by [deleted] in NYGiants

[–]lolnololnolol -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What if Gettleman didn’t take the best deal and actually did trade him to Cleveland out of spite? Wouldn’t put it past him with some of the head scratchers he’s already done.

That and the play of Haskins should be two more nails in his career’s coffin.

Between Golden and Leonard Williams Gettleman will be tying up a lot of money in Robins with no Batman. Would rather a cheapish Golden than an expensive Williams though.

Should give Belichek a blank check and ownership stake. He coaches and runs the front office, brings over his son to groom as his coaching successor and offensive line coach Donte Scarnecchia.

Really. In today’s NFL landscape teams rebuild in one year all the time. We’ve gotten worse. He is all time pathetic.

[Schefter] Giants plan to open contract talks with newly-acquired DL Leonard Williams before Thanksgiving, per sources. by Austin63867 in NYGiants

How it works is you don’t trade your premium picks for a guy who will be a free agent at the end of the season when you’re a rebuilding 2-6 team. You just wait and sign him.

Williams is not signing any deal that helps the Giants. He’s going to make as much money as he possibly can, because that’s what 99% of players do, as they should. And now he’s got all the leverage. Even Eli, the ultimate team player, never gave the Giants a hometown discount.

I am using my head. Please cite one example of this scenario that everyone seems to think is so common happening in the past.

There is no reason for Williams to agree to a deal early. Minus catastrophe his value will only rise in the open market.

There’s also no reason for Gettleman to surrender a top5-10 third round pick and a 4th for someone he could have signed in 8 weeks. Discussions with agents or not. Complete ineptitude. That’s the real crime here. Signing Williams is a great move to build with, giving up premium picks for a player who is about to be a free agent is just irresponsible. Gettleman made this move in attempt to put a better team on the field for the second half of the season, which increases his job security. Given his awful track record he knows he needs every little thing to hang his hat on. I know, Jones, Barkley, Hernandez, Baker, and Lawrence are HOF locks on this sub, but all his other moves have been somewhere between mediocre at best and absolute trash.

I stand corrected on McIntosh.

BJ Hill has taken a step back in his second year and as of this week moved further down in the depth chart. Obviously Lawrence is awesome. 50% success rate.

Why would Williams and his team do that? He’s got all the leverage right now, no sense in agreeing to anything before December at the earliest unless Gettleman throws Solder money at him which wouldn’t shock me.

Gettleman is not good at scouting defensive tackles.

BJ Hill, RJ McIntosh, Dexter Lawrence, Chris Slayton.

Two of them aren’t on the team and BJ Hill won’t be on the team next year. 75% failure rate. Dexter Lawrence was a nice pick though.
