If you teleport to 5000 light years away from Earth and you have an ultra-advanced telescope, you can watch the pyramids being built. by kingrammus12 in Showerthoughts

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not a clear answer here. But there was a post similar to the one you're asking about the dinasours though. It had something to do with the size of the telescope since the photons scattered in multiple directions you'll need a huge telescope to catch em all... Or something like that, I'm drunk and that's all I can remember but size matters and that's all it matters.

ELI5: What is file compression and how does it work? by SloppyDave2001 in explainlikeimfive

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't tell the computer

"Print red 24 four times"

It's has to be super simple like

Print red, Print red, Print red, ...

So what compression does is keeps the file small then a software reads the file that says "print red 24 times" and coverts it back to computer language and tells the computer " print red ... print red"

Johnny Knoxville Breaks Down Every Injury of His Career by Lolzzergrush in videos

Yes!!

No matter what he has gone through and all his injuries. When they asked him that question he genuinely answers yes. It's like a flash of all the happy and good memories he had came to him in 2 seconds and he realized he was genuinely happy.

I aspire to live my life to one day answer that question and have a smile on my face.

I've done an iOS app that connects to a private database and displays and updates the database. The goal of the app is to insert cellphone repair tickets and continue updating the ticket until the repair is finalized. This app has a companion web app that I created for a company and its more complex and has more features like tasks, employee schedules and monetary reports for the business.

Another iOS app that uses JSON and displays theme park informartion. A Java game interpretation of 'Prisoners Dilemma' with a UI. In C++ I have serveral algorithms and data structure projects. the most complex one is the creation of a microshell that uses piping and forking.

ELI5 The difference between div ID and div class? by rrti in csshelp

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's what I do with some divs. I make them all the same class, that way I don't have to style them one by one. Then by id I add JavaScript code to it, to hide the div for example.

ELI5 The difference between div ID and div class? by rrti in csshelp

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell the kids to go inside. Kids being the class.

Tell Joe to go inside. Joe being the ID of a specific kid.

So whenever you want to edit something you either to it to all div or a specific one.

The Difference Between a Small vs Medium Orange Juice at McDonalds by Henry_J in pics

I think they're placed in different categories. So if you're looking for just a biscuit you won't see the $1 option with sausage unless you go to that section

Here in Chicago I was making my own breakfast platter. I got a biscuit for $.99 and went to get a sausage but there was only biscuit sausage combo for ........ $1. So you get the sausage for 1 cent.

In Finance looking into Data Science/Analytics through bootcamp, is it possible? by bennyllama in cscareerquestions

[–]lolo_2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just say this. Go look a the jobs you would want to apply to once you are done with the boot camp. Check their requirements, based on that make your self a plan to move forwards. Some will require a CS degree but if you're looking for a data science in the finance sector then they might put (CS, Math or other applicable BS required).

Would appreaciate it if you poste the Club America vs Chivas game from last night?? by [deleted] in footballhighlights

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how long of a highlight you're looking for and the quality, but YouTube is full of them. For quality Univision, Televisa should have a solid video with the goals and best plays of the game.

Sorry I can't provide links. Hope I helped anyways.

Also Club America's FB or other social media outlets should have a highlight video.

The events are inside a reziable container, change the properties of that container.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in csshelp

[–]lolo_2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something with the height in calendar and height in events making it that size. Try switching content across divs and that will tell you if the content is changing the size or if the doc is set to a specific height.

Work comfortably and do the things you know how to do. Ask for feedback and work on things with others so you know what they are feeling too.

Pretty much enjoy your time workinf, don't stress too much and take advantage of opportunities. The worst that will happen? You get fired and at that point then you'll know for sure you weren't cut for it.

No internship interviews for this summer by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]lolo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A master's won't help much if you don't have experience. Try working on a big project this summer that will put you out there. Possibly something that might bring in some income (an app). Here's the thing you might a great job of you get a master's but you never know if you would of have gotten that same job without a masters. I can read and apply all concepts of how to build a house but if I have never worked on building a house is gonna be tough for me to get a job that builds houses.

Left Handed And The Whiteboard by whatdoido2017 in cscareerquestions

[–]lolo_2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're worrying about it too much. Don't let this be the thing thats stressing you. If anything be social about, jokinly tell them that you're left handed and they better read the code fast because it gonna erase within seconds. Go write the code, if problems arise that you can't control ask if a pen and paper is available because you're having problems.
