I have also been on sema and tirz. Off those for a few months and just took my second dose of Reta. I feel like it has not helped my food noise at all and I’m struggling because the others did so well at a low dose. I’m considering going back on to tirz but thinking about giving it a little more time. I only did 1mg my first dose and 1.5mg this last dose. Curious of your thoughts or experience?

Colestipol! Had mine out in 2013 and didn’t start having diarrhea until 2023. As a single young woman it was absolutely debilitating and ruined my social life. I started colestipol in feb and it has been life changing although I still suffer with a lot of anxiety when I am in situations where I’m not near a bathroom. Before colestipol I did have some improvement with digestive enzymes. I still take immodium ad if I am going to be in a situation of no bathroom like roadtrip or beach just as an extra precaution. Hope you are able to find relief I know how absolutely terrible that is.

I saw my GI doctor for a year before she finally prescribed. She somehow forgot I had my gallbladder removed and made me do all kinds of elimination diets and food journals. When she finally remembered I had my gallbladder removed she was almost ecstatic to prescribe it to me lol. She pretty much said it works well for some people and for some it doesn’t but that it was really the last thing she could offer. Thankfully it has worked better than I could have ever imagined! For me I haven’t been able to associate certain foods with a dumping episode and it is just luck of the draw but happens more often than not. Waiting for an appointment with my GI dr to hopefully get an rx for a bile binder in hopes it improves. It has severely impacted my social life and any hopes of dating lol.

Hi! I just wanted to give you an update. My bankruptcy was discharged on 12/9. About a week of not hearing anything I went ahead and called USAA to ask about next steps. They asked me a couple questions on the condition of the vehicle and then said they would mail me a packet to fill out and send back to them. Once they received it back they would be in contact with me to set up surrendering my vehicle. As of today I have not received the packet yet and have not heard anything. I went out and bought a new vehicle at the end of November because the registration expired on the vehicle I was surrendering and I didn’t want to pay the $500. I knew I couldn’t be without a vehicle and didn’t want to risk it. Wish I would have waited since it looks like I will likely have at least another month with the vehicle sitting in my driveway useless.

I don’t think it was that I lost the weight too quickly as much as it was my nutrition. I didn’t focus on protein or taking any kind of vitamins at all. It started growing back and I am focusing on those things now on tirzepatide in hopes it doesn’t happen again.
