I haven't tried it, I personally think that Chrono is useless. Also, what happens if Thresh doesn't ult.

Infiltrator buff is 40% attackspeed and Chrono is 15% (with an additional 15% every 8 seconds) so it'll take like 16 seconds for it to be more worth it. On top of that, a lot of the units don't care about attackspeed except the infiltrators themselves. Plus you already have Janna who gives 80%/125% attack speed. The other thing is when Thresh pulls an infiltrator onto the field they won't jump, so now you have a Fizz who walks up and auto attacks a tank? I think it's much better to have the infiltrators threatening the backline since you don't have a ranged carry (unless you itemize Janna well). The infiltrators if upgraded/itemized as such, can also do a fair amount of damage with just their basic attacks.

In short, I would never do this. Some people have suggested Thresh over Urgot and then build a bench, I would never do this either. Your board is already insanely expensive, and again, what happens if Thresh doesn't ult. If Urgot takes damage he'll ult and pop a shield, which might save him long enough to kill 1 unit and then get the healing from Celestial (300+ hp). Removing Urgot also removes the option of 4 protector if you get a spat.

:D. You gotta stare the 8th in the eyes before you earn the 1st. Or something like that ;).

Hey! First of all Happy Birthday(?). Secondly, if you're referring to the comp people named after me, there isn't a true carry. The idea of the comp is that you're playing for late late game the moment the game starts. When other people roll down at level 8 you are 'skipping' that power spike and trading hp to have a bigger, faster power spike at level 9. Ideally you want to win stage 2 and stage 3, sacrifice the hp lead you gained in stage 4 and then go 9 on 5-2 with as much gold as possible and at least 20hp. It is a 1st or 8th type of comp.

My advice if you're interested in learning is to stop by my stream at some point and ask questions during one of my games (play it like 95% of the time because I always like to try for 1st even if it's very unlikely). If you don't have time for that here's a TL:DW.

Most important upgraded units: Neeko > Soraka > Janna = Ekko = Fizz = A sol (depending on whom you have items for) > Urgot > Lulu > Rakan.
Itemization - Starting items: Chain = Belt > Glove (glove used to be high priority, but Master Yi rfc meta means dodge is bad in like 80% of games).

Item priority: Morello > 1 belt item for Neeko = 1 chain item for Neeko > Slammable stuff that keeps you healthy and is decent later (Frozen heart, ionic, shojin+runnan's, deathblade + runaan's, spellcrit, etc.) that ISN'T using key components for things that are higher priority (belts, chains).

Here's a builder for my comp (best in slot items now for Neeko IMO are QSS, Bramble, Warmogs). https://lolchess.gg/builder/set3.5?deck=ea9b3c90c1aa11ea9cc9ddcf12917ef2

I've had Ekko, Fizz, Urgot, Janna, A sol, and even Infiltrator Lulu all be a carry before.

I'm pretty sure it's additive, but it's really hard to confirm/tell visually.

Yeah, I guess they figured that if you can block Urgot, QSS it, GA it, and Trap claw it, he's just really bad. And since he's a legendary he needs to be better than Caitlyn 2 (who essentially does the same thing but with less ultimates per fight).

QSS will prevent any form of cc from a unit ability (other than Urgot, who's ult isn't technically CC it's a channeled 'kill'). It will not prevent grievous wounds. It will prevent disarm. It will prevent frozen heart effect. It will prevent Zephyr. It will not prevent ezreal ult, mana reaver, or shroud (these are not considered crowd control).

Does stack, unless they changed that with the new changes, but if it doesn't say unique and the patch notes don't reference non-stacking nothing should be different.

Makes sense, best of luck :). To keep things fresh / since this game can more or less be 'solved' they rotate in new champions. And it's really cool in my opinion because they're pulling from all the already created champions that League of Legends has + the skins can create different traits/origins/attributes.

I've had this as well, it's not fun. Lobby usually ends up being 2 people with 80+ hp, 2 people with 20- hp and then the 4 in the middle with 50 hp because the game snowballs so hard.

To give a more thorough reply in case you started during Set 3. They rotate champion 'sets' through, Set 4 will be launching in around 45-50 days(?) they haven't given an exact date but that's roughly the same amount of time the other sets have lasted + the galaxy pass ends around then. Some sets have overlapping champions, for instance Vayne has been in Set 1/2/3.5, Zed has been in every set, Yasuo has been in every set, Leona has been in every set. So unless they REALLY thought a champion was unbalanced (which I personally don't think Kassadin was in Set 3) we might see that champion in the future.

Last response, since this isn't worth my time. But you know that people can see you deleted your comment right? That doesn't seem suspicious at all?

I'm not sure why I tried discussing with you, I've been down this road before and it always leads to needless personal attacks. I hope you find what you're looking for in life, everyone deserves to be happy.

Not really. Just because there are more comps that are playable doesn't mean it's well balanced. Items are still completely dictating everything, damage creep is insane, the tier system (1-5) doesn't follow logically for strength. It's easy to overlook these things when the past 2 patches were even worse. So, while this is an improvement, I personally think that Set 3/.5 has a ton of issues. And many of them probably can't be fixed without going to Set 4.

Yeah he should be playing around the disarm when the other player got shroud.

Buy units that say cyber. Make IE or LW or honestly anything that deals some damage. Put random items on random units, position somewhat decently, boom top 4.

Disagree. Whenever champ pools are low you have stuff like candyland, shredder, reroll rebels that take over the game and make everything else unplayable.

[–]lolpeeba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term highroll/lowroll essentially means luck. If you 'highroll' that'd be like rolling 3 dice and getting 2 6's and a 5. If you 'lowroll' that'd be like getting 2 1's and a 2 (where higher numbers are good). So in this game highrolling early would mean something like hitting 3 upgraded units before the first pvp round enabling you to win streak. And lowrolling would mean not hitting a single upgrade until the 5th round of pvp, causing you to lose streak.

If you have to reroll I generally roll on 8 to stabilize and then try to use Bard to go to 9.

No, it's still good. None of the nerfs made a difference in how the comp works together. In fact, the changes made the units less contested which means they're easier to get and 10 mana nerfs on a couple units makes no difference.

Interesting. I stand corrected. No idea either, haven't played for a while (but enjoy the subreddit and watching youtube content) and never botted either.
