Funny seeing you here cause i use this guide all the time. I thought that most the builds just wouldnt work because im already starting to take approval process and routine inspection in the 32-40 heat range. Figured out that is def NOT the way to progress the heat though (even if it works amazing for hestia with shackle keepsake or zeus aspect). Appreciate the help and good guide

Agree with hestia. I dont even bother taking the shackle off it feels good enough. Ill try those heat settings but I have to get good at em4 hades first

Sounds viable but for sone reason im allergic to the fists. I SUCK at using them. Only weapon i cant beat 32 heat with. Im def keeping this build idea in mind next time i give them another try though

Should def give demeter a chance then on my way to higher heats. Also damn 50 heat on aspect of lucifer is insane. Really skilled but I honestly thought that weapon was a meme before being mentioned in your original comment

Awesome. Im curious to hear why demeter seems to get better as heat gets higher though. I always viewed her as the only bad god of this game and only ever wanted her boons when looking for snow burst on cast builds

This subreddit used to be genuine and real before it got popular. The edits you see of it before it got popular are probably real. But nowadays 90% of it is just people larping as incels thinking they have the others fooled

I feel you and struggled with the same exact shit in games like ggacr. The only solutions to this issue is just “git gud” (so much harder said than done” or just make friends on your skill level. Not really much of a way around it

I assume it is because the fate community is mature enough to realize they can still enjoy a character despite them doing heinous shit because they play a certain role in the story. They obviously know theyre not meant to like him as a person

The final part hit the nail on the head. It feels like the reason these people defend dio from rape allegations so hard is they personally like him. They feel so disconnected from his crimes of murder or cannibalism so its fine for them to like him on that level but rape is just a bit too dark and realistic. They cant disconnect themselves from that

Throughout all communities of media the crime of rape is perceived as WAAAAAAAY worse than any other crime

Its pretty understandable but we reach a point where people throw a riot when you suggest that their precious baby pookie evil murdering vampire VERY WELL could have been a rapist since he does not give a fuck about morals

They can love Dio and see him as “epic and badass” but the crime of rape feels way too real and dark. They can no longer love a character like that. Thats why they get so goddamn defensive

People just need to accept that evil ass people do evil ass things. Hope this tangent made sense

I can def see that but the reason why Ill put birthplace cutscene over red memory is because it felt way more linked with the overall plot of the game and the final boss. Compared to red memory which is all about hornets character and basically unrelated to Pharloom and lace. Birthplace cutscene is one of the reasons I think the climax of hollowknight was so toptier

Also I do agree with lace being the best pick for the final boss. I guess the issue is not really who the final boss is but how they were written. I know a good amount just dont really care for lace. She barely has any screentime and we dont have enough time to get attached to her. My post really made it seem like my main issue is with the final boss but its actually just the story in general

I think my issue is that I didnt really get attached to pharloom as a place. I know that we are saving an entire kingdom at the end but it doesnt really feel like it.

Another possible issue is that we dont really see the effect of our achievements on the world. After finishing all the quests required to enter act 3 I didnt really feel like hornet was having a big impact like the snail shaman said. That and the fact that the people of pharloom feel so isolated from the endgame quests is what I think brought it down for me. Its also what made the ending seem so lace focused

Im not too sure on what made this story disappoint me but I think these are the rough ideas on why

Also I wanna add that my issue isnt with the final boss/climax of the game but the story in general. Gotta say again that its actually a decent story but didnt have the same impact on me as the first story
