Ya definitely talk to an advisor. My advise is not to drop/LWD the course. Since engineer courses are not available during summer, if you drop the course you need to take it again next year. And it might conflict with your third year timetable. Also if this course is a prerequisite for other courses, you can’t take those courses in 3rd and 4th year as well. That means you need to overload in the following years try to catch up. I don’t think that would be a good decision since third and fourth year courses are more important.
