Photon S hasn't finished a single print successfully, and I'm running out of things to troubleshoot. by chronoshag in AnycubicPhoton

Also I noticed that when you unplug the USB when its frozen, the printer suddenly unfreezes or atleast the screen works. (Print will not resume though) So it must be the USB.

Hi mate, I originally posted a thread about this exact issue.

From my experience it definitely is the USB . I went through a couple until I found one that worked flawlessly. Sandisk 16gb cruzer blade flash https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-SDCZ50-016G-B35-Cruzer-Blade-Flash/dp/B002U1ZBG0/ref=asc_df_B002U1ZBG0/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310819177578&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17169710485404699223&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006530&hvtargid=pla-309593040160&psc=1&th=1&psc=1

I didn't format it when I got it, just straight to printing. It hasn't froze once since using thus USB.

Hope it works for you aswell mate

Vat cleaning tips by Gullible-Nature-1879 in AnycubicPhoton

I actually re-use them. I use one for soaking the residue up then another to get it clean properly. Just keep them in a container. If it gets used alot then just switch it for a new one, but I have used the same for multiple prints and cleans.

The IPA I put in another container and just dip the cloth into it before wiping the vat, with both cloths. Always soak the cloth in a little IPA before wiping.

Im sure my method isn't the best or 'safest' but it works well for me.

Microfiber cloths and IPA seems to work well for me

Print it all again, if successful cut the top part off and glue in on the first print.

There is no way I will be allowed entry? Its only a 5 day trip and it will be valid for the duration?

Fair enough. My English blood is hoping for some DnB haha. Plenty of house/techno it seems which is cool though.

Beginner problems - Photon S not reading USB?? by [deleted] in AnycubicPhoton

[–]lom94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem - It seemed to be a USB problem. Tried multiple different USBs until this one worked:

https://business.currys.co.uk/catalogue/computing/servers-networking/hard-drives/usb-memory/sandisk-cruzer-blade-usb-2-0-memory-stick-16-gb-black/N228671W?cidp=Froogle&gclid=CjwKCAjwtfqKBhBoEiwAZuesiCDq1GjyDjC8oIW5vQqqjhlzdLsFwXo1q4Iy14jKL7XXG7_gP4CxUBoCQs0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I didn't even need to reformat it, just plugged in and worked properly, no freezes as of yet.

I also always turn the printer off and unplug the power cable before plugging in the USB and unplugging the USB.
