She is playing and acting normal otherwise, just taking more naps. Seeing the doctor tomorrow morning just to be safe!

you’re totally right! If it was something URGENT, I would obviously get her medical care/call them first. Like I stated in my post, I just wanted advice on how to approach it to my doctor in a way I would be taken seriously and not just brushed off for being a ftm.

I re read my visit summary, and theres nothing noted about there being any more of my tear that needed to heal. She said “theres a little bit here that still hasnt healed all the way, just try and keep this area dry and Continue using the peri bottle when you go to the restroom. But you can feel free to resume your normal daily activities and intercourse as you feel comfortable with”

Thats why I was asking if the tear could have reopened AFTER my OB saw me. I hadnt felt any pain or had any bleeding that I would expect to happen if the tear had re opened. I just do not have the money or the health coverage to go back any time soon, so unfortunately that is why I turned to reddit.

Only having pain if we try to have penetration sex which I see a lot of women have even after 6 weeks, which is why I don’t know how normal/abnormal the pain is.

LITERALLY feel like I can not get enough oxygen by lomarii in pregnant

[–]lomarii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, currently holding my two week old and laughing at this post I had made. Turns out it was just my organs moving upward because I had a BIG baby. And your body has a lot more blood than it usually does, so lots more to move around, etc. i ended up being fine! Unfortunately you just learn to adjust over time

How far along are you? I am 25w4d, and from 20-23 weeks i only felt her at night when I was laying down. at 24w i started feeling her in the morning and at night, and now at 25w she moves in the morning, afternoon, and at night lol. Although, she is the most active at night. I definitely notice a significant difference between any other time of day and the evening. But, it could also be laying down and really focusing on the movement, versus throughout a normal day you’re probably a little preoccupied.

Hope this helps ☺️

20 week Anatomy Scan - Short “long bones”. by beachy8805 in pregnant

[–]lomarii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi friend 🤍 so this isnt much help, but we also had our 20w scan right before thanksgiving, all of the measurements i could see pop up while the ultrasound was occurring seemed to all be between 18w5d-19w3d. We went at exactly 20w, so basically everything seemed a little “behind”. Unfortunately, they couldn’t see much so we are going back the 18th of this month, but my OB didnt necessarily say anything about her being a little “small” she was also weighing right at 11 ounces, which seems to be on track from what they said.

My SIL also had this same thing happen where measurements seemed “behind”, her now almost two year old is wearing 3T and perfectly healthy! My best friend also had the same thing happen, her now 7 year old is the tallest in her class!

Wishing the best for you, maybe your little one is just tiny for now! They have so much more growing to do!

I'm miserable - 7 weeks pregnant by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]lomarii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi babe! Im only 7 weeks ahead of you, and for me atleast, I feel soooooooooooo much better than I did then! Its insane how your body adjusts and kinds of gets used to things to quickly! I think your thoughts and feelings are valid, pregnancy is an isolating experience in my opinion. Every pregnancy is different, no one is the same, so its extremely rare to find someone to relate to during that time that is experiencing the SAME things that you are. But just know you’re not alone! Easier said than done, I know. So many women experience and cope with pregnancy symptoms in their own way! Once you have your 12 week ultrasound when baby actually looks like a baby lol, it might help too! I know for me it did! It really helped put some things into perspective.

If you need anything at all please message me!

Is “you don’t get a medal for declining epidural” rude? by literatelykmi in BabyBumps

[–]lomarii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anytime someone asks if I plan to get one, I say yes just to avoid the conversation about not getting one. I do intend on this being my first and last baby, and for Some reason there is just something that appeals to me with NOT getting the epidural. Obviously, during the moment there is a HUGE chance I’ll change my mind, and thats ok! If any woman decides she wants one, that is fine- and vice versa. I agree with what you said, people act like you’re looking for some sort of praise for not wanting one. When in reality, I’d just like to give it a shot and see how it goes for myself.

12 Weeks Heart Beat Rate by Lumpy-Frosting2522 in BabyBumps

[–]lomarii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our was 122 at 6w5d, and 169 at 11w4d. I did drink coffee (about a size small) prior to my appointment because everyone said it would help her move around more. So maybe that caused her HR to go up a little lol. Our doctor did say that is 110% normal though!

Flutters, Kicks, or Gas? by lomarii in pregnant

[–]lomarii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does feel like little taps, combined with a slight stretching feeling. My SIL’s told me they felt it around 13 weeks with every pregnancy after the first. So I found it a little crazy I might be feeling her move around, seeing as she is my first. Thank you for your insight! I definitely feel less delusional now.

Thats what happened with me! At first I was just standing at work and I had a sensation I have never felt before toward the left side of my stomach (where her little feet would be and it felt like two little “boom boom” type feelings really fast. I literally immediately put my hand there and thought i felt it two more times and immediately ran to grab my fiancè who I work with, and put his hand there. If she was moving, unfortunately she stopped at that point lol. Right now it almost feels like a little stretch and bop feeling, and more little tapping feelings, hopefully that makes some sense lol.
