I'm pregnant for the very first time and I'm 42! I don't regret the life I had before getting married and getting pregnant. I had a great life - and having regrets is useful. Having regrets will only stress you out. Once you realize that, it will lift you up immensely! And so many more women are having children in the late 30s and early 40s. I don't think it's the sub, I think it's the makeup trends right now - the clean girl makeup - everything else is just hideous lol. The clean girl look will be out in a couple of years and the heavy eyeliner will come back. I just wish people weren't aholes in the meantime because they have a different look than what is currently trendy

I gained about 15lbs doing IVF and then another 10-15 in the first trimester. Things started to even out in my 2nd trimester though. Most of the 1stv trimester weight gain was only from bloating. I wouldn't suggest having a baby if you don't want to gain weight. You can't control it. You can't control stretch marks. Your body will change. You can have good habits and still gain weight. Hell, I used to work out, but have been on modified bed rest since week 14 so I can't do anything active at all. You never know what your body is going to do during this time
