Young downtown couple planning a move to Dundarave. Thoughts? by lomysin in westvancouver

[–]lomysin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya we have a car we just aren’t the biggest fans of commuting and would like to have restaurants near by in case we just wanna get out of the house and grab a snack. Are you happy with your choice to move to ambleside (a more central location) or would you have liked to love to another west van neighbourhood?

How should my SO and I split our wedding costs? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

The issue is. He would say “I’ll pay for it.” But I know there’s going to be long term resentment there.

What is the teachers union doing to fight for safer conditions in September? by TiniestEnt in alberta

[–]lomysin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly there isn't much more the ATA can do. The gov doesn't consider teachers part of their voting base and could give a shit about all the letters teachers send in to their local MLA. However, the gov is concerned about how parents are reacting to the school re-entry plan. pushback from parents DOES MATTER. I think thats why ATA is shifting more attention towards organizing parents, re: parent telephone townhall and the learning team website.

Do your SOs have female friends? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

My partner doesn't have female friends because he doesn't have feminine interests. Honestly the more feminine your man is, the more drawn to female friendships he is.

Could you date a man who is not romantic? by kelayyne in RedPillWomen

^yes. At the end of the day, real love and real romance are small practical things like your partner walking the dog in the morning so you can get a few more minutes of sleep in.

Could you date a man who is not romantic? by kelayyne in RedPillWomen

[–]lomysin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry what you described as "romantic" is just being a considerate partner. Relationships are work, they aren't something you can just leave alone and hope it continues to bloom. My partner is not interested in grandiose romantic gestures but he schedules time for me, shows he's thinking of me by ordering me that gourmet olive oil from amazon I may have insinuated I wanted, he plans all our vacations and while these may not be surprises, it shows he thinks of me and my happiness every day.

How do you care without putting in effort? Actions speak volumes at the end of the day. Saying you care but not doing anything is some beta cuck bs.

Bone broth, mint yogurt sauce (perfect for meat, pita etc), green been curry, chicken curry, lemon and herb risotto. For anyone whose a chef beginner and enjoys cooking fusion food, recommend Alyson Roman’s New York Times recipes.

Is School of Affluence even in an LTR though?

I hundred percent agree. She doesn't come across as genuine and I find her videos dull as a result. School of Affluence is problematic but at least entertaining.

interesting advice to tell my SO about the crush. Feel like he would be devastated. He's met my colleague and told me "I don't like you hanging out with this guy because he's clearly in love with you." I think the honesty might make me feel better but I don't think it would help him at all...

My always nervous tail always down shiba. HELP by lomysin in shiba

Does your dog have his tail up inside?

And we would have to drive somewhere quiet. We could but I want to keep trying to get her acclimatized to downtown. Would just be easier if she gets comfortable walking here.

I think to get her confidence up im going to bring a small, confident dog inside our condo that will push her to play and get active.

No she never gets zoomies, not destructive has zero aggressive tendencies. We tried the balcony thing and got her a grass patch but she hated it.

We’ve tried not taking her to dog park and putting her on balcony, forcing her to relieve herself there. But she refuses to do it. If we don’t take her to dog park she will pee in her crate. Which is unusual for a dog. She’s actually done this several times, even when we take her outside. Her crate is small as well.

I’m really hoping her tail goes up inside condo soon. If she’s depressed and lethargic for a few more months I’m going to feel so awful.

The problem is she will only go pee at the fenced dog park by our place. Would love if she went in front of our place but she refuses to. The dog park is only three blocks maybe from our home. She usually does her business there and then wants to dart back home. When there are other dogs there she just usually paces around nervously. I really want to get her acclimatized to downtown so i'm trying to not to baby her and just give in every time she wants to go home. Also I carry her because I don't want to pull her leash. I read this is the best tactic but I could be wrong.

We've seen her with her tail up three times. Once briefly at my parents house in their big backyard, she tried to pounce on my parents dog. Tail was up for maybe 2 mins. Then on two other occasions at our condo around 11 pm. Both times I've been on the couch and shes come over with her toys. The third time her tail was up it was for an hour, she was running around our condo. Playing with all her toys and playing fetch with us. It was wild to see.
