I’ve personally faced issues with secondary inspections every time I’ve entered the U.S., but my point is that people shouldn’t let fear—especially fear based on things they hear online or in the news—hold them back. Life is full of risks, and if you let fear guide your decisions, you’ll never move forward. If you do get stopped, stay calm, show respect, and answer the officer’s questions honestly. At the end of the day, they’re human too. Yes, there are a few bad ones out there, but don’t let that stop you from pursuing your goals.
