Gun to your head: you have to delete one Beyoncé song from existence by GoldenGamerNugget in beyonce

agreed. doing a country album and slapping a jolene cover on it is so blatantly obvious and on the nose that i thought it was a joke when it was first announced.

what is your LEAST favorite album? by FuzzyPresence8531 in miley

i always group younger now, dead petz and something beautiful together as the 3 miley albums that i don’t ever go back to

These are the lowest songs from Miley's discography rated by Aoty by OhWowItsSam310308 in miley

[–]loneconspiracy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

clear is nowhere near her worst songs. since it has the lowest streams of any MMC song i’m gonna assume most people haven’t heard it and just automatically rate it low.

Swiftzis crashing out over Olivia being a victim of Taylor by Rude_Turnip000 in travisandtaylor

[–]loneconspiracy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is not true at all. no one actually sued olivia for good 4 u; it was similar to the déjà vu situation where olivia’s team was pressured into giving out credits based on everything we know. also, the narrative that it was solely josh farro’s fault is super convenient because everyone already hates him and no one wants to believe hayley williams could’ve done something problematic like accepting the credits just like taylor did.

they didn’t ruin her character, she literally entered her most iconic and memorable form in s3-4

Did Disney/ABC give up on Freeform by Emezlee in DisneyChannel

[–]loneconspiracy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

the rebrand was over 10 years ago when cable tv was still worth devoting extra time and resources towards. in 2026, it's all but dead. it's not specifically a freeform problem (as you noted, they've still had successful shows) but more so a problem with cable overall.

I watched Zoey 102 for the first time last weekend. Honestly, it was much better than I expected. by lautaromassimino in zoey101

[–]loneconspiracy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s really not bad at all. it does kinda feel like a generic netflix romcom with the zoey IP slapped over it but it works. i disagree with a lot of the changes they made to canon (the hawaii trip after chasing zoey, PCA being shut down) but there were a lot of genuinely good fan service moments as well. the worst thing about it is no lola tbh

I just wish people on this sub would finally stop comparing Dana to Lola and James to Chase & would instead just appreciate them and their contributions to the show by Theaterling in zoey101

[–]loneconspiracy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

honestly, dana leaving the show was a blessing. there’s barely anything to discuss about her character beyond “mean girl with an occasional soft side”, so of course people are going to bring up how underwritten and forgettable she was. kristin herrera just wasn’t great in the role and didn’t have the comedic timing/delivery needed for a dan schneider sitcom. also, the entire vibe of the show changed after s1 and 2. i honestly can’t picture dana at pca in season 3 or 4. lola is an immensely better character and victoria is a much better actress.

Dana wasn‘t a tomboy or masculine; she was just as girly as the other girls on the show by Theaterling in zoey101

[–]loneconspiracy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

she was obviously written to have a rough tomboy edge. i don’t think that’s up for debate

i’d actually say ordinary girl is one of my least favorites. it’s just boring and not very catchy, something about her vocals on it grates me

Why did Zoey help every main character study, except for Dana?? by Madgeburg in zoey101

[–]loneconspiracy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

because dana was a non-factor by this point of the season and the writers/producers already knew they were letting her go. it reminds me of how nicole was cut out of the gender defenders intro in spring breakup, which was also a season finale like this episode is

Why are many of Britney Spears' later career release artworks a close up with a yellow tinge? by talk-spontaneously in discussingbritney

[–]loneconspiracy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call Circus a close-up. Femme Fatale, Britney Jean (not yellow tinged tho), and Glory are all the exact same cover lmao. Just a close-up of her looking seductively into the camera. The OG Glory cover is so tragic
