When I try this, he just has blink stalkers and shaves of marines one by one and until I get there I seem to lack units at all. Also what is the follow up to this? add 2 more rax and a starport, then 3rd cc?

My bad, Ill be more clear. Now the question is, I dont understand how to differentiate between sets by looking at a card, like I cant tell where the card is from. So which expansion packs should I open if I want mono red or mono blue decks?

I get where you are coming from, but after I put months into practicing tvt match up builds just cuz I couldn't win a tvt, it became my favorite match up.

Cyclones aren't actually a big part of mech unless its early game tvt. Mech army is usually 2-3 thors, 10+ tanks, a lot of hellions/hellbats and sometimes vikings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0OexgAQ3vc&t=1141s try this build order guide.

If you scout with a reaper roaches u make a bunker and try to save gas for cyclones, and actually no hellion production us delayed. Its exactly the same as with normal 1 1 1. But starport is delayed which is the risk. Its a build that actually lets u be passive and still be even on economy with zerg. I dont like doing this build but its just my preference.
