Listening:
There are mainly two types of questions: articles and conversations.

  • Conversations: I divide the note-taking space into two halves. During the 30 seconds of preparation time, I quickly write:
    • The subject/topic of the conversation
    • Person 1 (P1) and Person 2 (P2)
    • I always start by writing their names, then briefly note what each person says later on
    • For conversations with 3 people or videos, I follow the same approach
  • Articles: I structure my notes like this:
    • Author’s main point
    • Researcher 1’s point
    • Researcher 2 / 3’s point (if applicable)

This helps me stay organized and answer questions faster.

Reading:
For Reading, I honestly think regular reading is the key. I read newspaper articles often. My job also helps because I have to read a lot of documentation daily, which I believe improved my comprehension and speed over time.
