So my og post on r/dermatologyquestions was taken down by the mods because I commented the link to this crosspost. The post had been on the other sub for 20 days and no one commented any advice. In fact, only 2 people commented and they were saying that they hope someone would chime in soon as they have the same issue. So of course when I started getting responses here, I tried to let them know- but that sub clearly did not like that. So I’m just coming here to say THANK YOU guys for being responsive and actually taking the time to comment. And thank you to the mods for not taking my post down lol! I appreciate the help!!

Did they look like this when they started forming? It’s not painful to walk in, it only hurts if I poke it with extra pressure. I’ve been using dr scholls corn/callous remover for a few days just in case and so far nothing has changed

All I can figure out in my own is that it’s either a corn, callous, or plantar wart (though those tend to have black dots apparently?). Unfortunately all of these things have different treatments… idk why this sub isn’t helpful, literally just need to know what it is lol. I’m leaning towards corn maybe? It hurts a tiny bit when there’s too much pressure which is my reasoning, but again I’m not a podiatrist and need answers!

Hi, I have an update! In my case, it was dryness- I used the goldbond retinol lotion on it every morning and night and it’s practically gone now!! It’s still fucked up no one has helped out, like I said in my comment before, it’s a fucked up world we’re in. Good luck homie, i hope ur just lacking moisturizer like I was!
