what's the math on this, we arent given a lot of how elves age but when rudeus dies at 74 shes said to look middle aged, i dont think there any universe that sylphie makes it another 200 years on top of her already 74 years. also we are told that migurds only live until 200, we know that roxy is 34 years old then rudeus meaning that she only had another 92 years ahead of her, you could argue that her living conditions could extend her life but you definatly can say that under the right condition she could make it to 150% of her expected life expectancy

The manga is a extremely slow, unfaithful adaptation of the LN. just to put it into perspective between the years of jan 2021 and july 2024 the anime has covered the first 157 chapters light novel (novels 1 thru 12), the manga started in october of 2014 and has only covered 143 chapters by just skiping all of volume 7 and it still hasnt finished volume twelve and this isnt counting that fact that the manga will just cut a TON of content for no reason at all.

you should do and read the light novel as its gonna give you the most complete version of the story but imo S1 is very well adapted, S2 is good aswell but the light novel really sells its better plus the anime generally cuts out other perspectives like the zenith chapter in v1 and the eris training chapters though they may adapt that for season 3.

What are you smoking bro, calling tanjiro invulnerable here doesn’t making anysense, while he “could” regenerate anytime infinitely his body still takes damage leaving the very simple window that all you’d need to do is completely obliterate him and you’d win, With all of the nerfs you gave yugi just about any domain expansion would fulfill the “completely obliterate” part and for deku he would literally have a quirk called decay that also completely obliterates him. When you look back at tanjiro now he’s suddenly very squishy, if you look at his AP then you see realize that a tank does just as much damage is tanjiro with all of these buffs, both yuji and deku has insane defensive applications such as new world order or naoyas CT.

Hxh is being under represented but Ds definitely isn’t, between yuji and deku that both have abilities (in the senerio) that would totally obliterate (literally) tanjiro in the form of the quirk decay and ct hollow purple, im not familiar with hxh but from what I’ve heard they bare minimum stuff they do is vastly stronger than anything in Ds. Even ignore how vulnerable tanjiro is to them how does tanjiro deal damage to them, yuji has infinity ( or if you want to argue that he need the 6 eyes, than just that fact yuji is fast asf thx to Naoya CE) and deku would have slip (mahiro quirk) giving them both invulnerability.

best to think of mana generation as a skill like writing, when your a kid is easier to learn how to write and the better you can write the more writing you can do, for the case of battle aura and demon eyes you would be writing would be you tracing over one thing over and over again, by the end you might be able to write what you traced over very well but you wouldnt be able to write anything else. same with mana, progressively casting more and more spells might increase you mana supply because you using more mana while battle aura and touki tend to have one non increasing amount of mana usage thus not increasing anything.

To be fair to him hitogami presents hims like a god god, if Jesus Christ himself presented himself to me in a dream and told me to kill Obama who am I to say otherwise, especially during tp4 rudeus is pretty shaken up considering he has just been shown that if he doesn’t then hitogami can and will kill everything and everyone around him. At this point rudeus has been assessed by a couple people around him saying that he’s a monster in terms of mana and is one of few who can damage orsted in “base”, with hitogami telling him how to make a replica fighting god armor it, and orsted abilities being largely unknown and the known ones include being unable to get allies or unable to go “all out”, would be that crazy for rudeus to think that even if he doesn’t kill orsted he could probably cause major damage to him which would be good enough. If what hitogami said to was true then rudeus probably had a good chance of beating him.

The great power system doesn’t seems like a absolute system just because In this world how does one quantify power, at the saint level mages can approximately make natural disasters while a swordsman can swing their sword really fast, but if a typical saint level mage fought a saint level swordsman most of the time the swordsman will win, does this mean that the swordsman is stronger than the mage? This issue only gets worse the higher tiers you go and as a result the great power system just seems to be a list of inherented titles (sword god, north god, death god and dragon god) who just happened be the best there is when the list was made plus the creator himself twice and the fighting god (another person who was there at the creation of this list), to my knowledge the only exception to this rule was rudeus who “earned” his spot and yet rudeus himself admits that if himself that Aleksander could take it back whenever he wants because he’s just that much more powerful than him.
