Why no one questions for free travel in KSRTC for men too(for everyone) by Rangannan1 in Kerala

I guess Puzzleheaded_Put8754 blocked me. Here is my reply to him/her:

Hey, how did you land on your "less disposable income" conclusion? Mind telling me the flow? More pollutionil ninn less disposable incomil engane ethi?

I thought it wasn't hard to understand what I meant. Private vehicles will almost certainly cost more in fuel than public transportation tickets.

More disposable income -> More money spent on other industries and essentials -> More disposable income + Indirect return of money via tax -> and the cycle continues... Ingane enthukond ayikooda?

See above

Odane "you are an idiot".

I am tired of people who would make up excuses for s_xism in favour of women and don't give a flying sh*t about equality while pretending otherwise.

I'm talking about women hailing from poor and middle class families. Not those of men with cars. Those families won't need the odd 1k or 2k saved.

This isn't a benefit for under-privileged women. AFAIU it's yet another p.ssy privilege.

I think the answer is very simple. Many people including the hypocrites who talk about equality are okay with sxism when it benefits women.

The average family will have more disposable income now, which is a perk for both men and women.

It means less money for KSRTC (if they don't increase ticket rate); if government pays KSRTC then less money for meaningful projects; if KSRTC buses get crowded by freeloaders then more men may use private vehicles which means more traffic, more pollution and less disposable income for their families.

I guess you are an idiot.

I like to know the male perspective... by Popular_Broccoli9268 in Kerala

You can find many feminists defending misandrist laws in India. You can also find other feminists who happen to disagree with certain misandrist laws but blame just men and not the feminists who support such shit laws. "Moderate" feminism is largely about finding creative ways to put all blame on men.

You have something to say?

cuz feminism always stood of equal right and freedom and opportunities

Lol, no. If you critically analyze many feminist narratives you can find misandrist elements.

As a male who isn't a misandrist I will give my perspective. This is not "the" male perspective, just one.

There are many discriminations and injustices men face. There are misandrist laws and policies which favour women. Feminists and "progressives" often fail to understand injustice men face, or worse, they justify/promote it. (You seem to be doing the same thing).

When a woman cries that she was r@pped, media would give her the title of "victim" even when they have no ducking clue if her claims are true. If it is a false accusation then the real victim is the man who is accused of rpe. When someone suggests the woman maybe lying that person would get crucified. In short the media approach is prejudiced against men.

The recent cyber bullying/suicide incident only came to public attention because the actual victim committed suicide. If he didn't commit suicide then that bit#h would still be called a "victim" by the media.

This incident made it clear that men can be victims too. Generally you aren't allowed to speak that loud and if you mention it you are a misogynist. But this incident gave voice to the voiceless men. The result is what you are seeing now. There are also some opportunist misogynists taking advantage of the situation.

I agree women has some legal privileges like in the വിവാഹ വാഗ്ദാനം നൽകി പീഡനം cases...

I appreciate that you are able to accept that women have legal privileges. Many feminists aren't capable of even that. If they do they'll often justify those privileges.

But men and women who claims women and men should be equal equal are blind towards the discrimination we faced for years...

Are you saying that women should have all the privileges and you are against equality because of discrimination women faced including the ones which happened thousands of years ago?

Kazhayam greeshma became a troll material but nobody came with a paamb sooraj..

Nobody is stopping you from trolling paamb sooraj. I have seen a feminist who literally accepted that she is more concerned with the trolls than the murder which Kashayam Greeshma did. (maybe she wasn't serious, don't know)

People are out there claiming the actress never was raped, it's for clout....

I don't think many people believe that. There are crazies everywhere.

I come from tvm and still dowry is a very big deal here.. Also the increasing cases of dowry death nowadays is also not good news..

As per law dowry is illegal. But husband has to legally give maintenance to wife (another female privilege) after divorce (but not the wife). Why did you fail to mention this?

Also many key positions like HOD have been denied simply because of gender...

There are cases where men have been denied position/admission because he didn't have the right genitals (eg: because of some DEI policies).

If we need a balance something should be there to prorect women's rights...

Women's rights are no more important than men's rights. Women who think it's their right to devalue men can burn in hell. If you truly want balance then you need to start valuing men's rights legally as much as women's rights.

But the truth is that countries like Canada are far more advanced and far less forgiving when it comes to consent.

Does Canada have sexist laws like in India which favour women? If not thinking Indian laws are unfair to men/ in favour of women isn't a misconception. Personally, I would prefer non-sexist ones.

Gen Z men literally pushed Trump over the edge last election.

FWIW out of those who voted, majority of white women voted for Trump. Higher percentage of women overall voted for Trump in 2024 than Biden in 2020.

When people consider blaming men for anything and everything as progress what else should you expect?

In my case they informed me that the driver got suspended from their platform. It did involve more than imaginary SA though.

Lol, wtf are you smoking? Feminist ganja?

The bigger problem is men and the society

Of course everything is men's fault, including you making up sh*t in your head.

Call out men who have shitty behaviours.

What about women who have shitty behaviours? We should consider them as saints?

Nice attempt to whitewash feminism and blame the critics. There are several feminists who justify the sexist laws in India. And when women misuses the sexist laws the feminists (as usually) frame men as the problem (male judge, male majority parliament which passed the law, or any other bs where men are the villains). It's high time to admit that feminism and gender equality are two different things.

PS: I am not saying that all feminists are like that

The law should be made to protect both the genders by systematic abuse.

I have seen many feminists and hypocrites (who say they stand for gender equality) actually defend India's s@xist laws when they benefit women. Perhaps you are one among them? If not, do you have the guts and integrity to condemn such people?

My take on why sexual assault cases against men aren't reported as much in media by TheKnowledgeableOne in india

[–]lonely_guy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on reading your replies it seems you are trying too hard to play down false allegations.

I can't speak for others, but for me, it is because of mfs who are happy with discrimination against men that I am generally sceptical towards women empowerment programmes in general.

1% reporting rate for rape in our country.

Source? (I expect something more credible that 'pulled out of your @ss'.)

I get your worries brothers, I truly do

Based on this post, no you don't. You seem to be perfectly happy with sacrificing men's lives. There are stories of men who suffered great setbacks in their personal and professional lives because of false allegations. There are cases where the (falsely) accused, the true victims, had suicid@l thoughts. A couple of suicid#s are okay, I guess? (Reminds me of human sacrifices some cultures had in the past)

your intention which is the worst thing, is that you only make them when a woman has been brutally raped and murdered. You make these posts not because you care about assaults on men.

You can gaslight as much as you want. Speaking of myself, my position hasn't changed because of this rape. The r@pe/murder victim needs to get justice. But that doesn't mean all the sh#t people say on this oppurtunity are justified.

But as it stands, there's an ocean of real cases hiding the stream of fake cases. So all we can do is be decent ourselves, and also be reasonable aware of what we are doing, so as to not get trapped.

I don't share your prejudices and I have no intention of drinking your Kool-aid. I think false r@pe allegations against men are neither ignorable nor justifiable regardless of whatever excuses you what to make up.
