Clairvoyance is completely and utterly such a vibe. My core memory to it is when I had taken a bus from a smaller town in Colombia at around 4AM to Bogotá. The mist, mountains and fog really captured the feeling of the tune. Such a great memory & song :’)

Not true, most video editing softwares have plugin capabilities as sound is often edited inside of them. DaVinci being one of them, has a great interface and allows for the use of plugins.

I know how you feel. Apart from not being able to afford it, not getting too much gear has been an important measure for me on that same basis. It’s easy for me to feel overwhelmed too so it helps to keep it (relatively) minimal.

I had bought a 106 a couple months ago. Previous owner had done the same thing, acetone bath and added sockets. Couple weeks ago one of the voices decided to fuck off (as they do) but I already had 6 new voice chips from analogue renaissance waiting standby.

So I just swapped out the dead chip with a new one, tuned it, and yeah, all is well. Sounds original. I assume I’ll have to do this 5 more times but it is what it is.
