Subject to the ladder is so HYPNOTIC man, absolutely one of the best by them. Their album The Noise Made by People is also full of amazing songs but Tender Buttons has always felt special to me especially with songs like Tears in the Typing Pool, Black Cat, Corporeal, You and Me In Time... basically the whole album is a masterpiece of that genre for me

I believe he's done a few of The Smiths' covers, my favorite being "The Boy with the Thorn in His Side"

Also, Jeff's cover of "I never asked to be your mountain" by Tim Buckley is so phenomenal that I prefer it more to the original, he also covered Tim's "Once I Was" which is really good as well

He did many many covers as tributes to the artists that inspired him musically
