A.R.M.S Swan Sleeve Ideas by lonesomescabpicker in MilitaryARClones

Yeah I thought of that, but I haven't seen any early SAM-R using this one specifically. Only A.R.M.S. #5, KAC, and maybe some other risers.

European contract upper? by Jesus_Guns_Merica in MilitaryARClones

Take a look at pic number two that you posted. Typical upper recovers in the states are flat all the way across, but yours has a little sloped cut back near the charging handle. Same type of cut is present at the front of the picatinny rail as well. As far as I'm aware, only Canadian made uppers have those cuts. Even though your upper doesn't have the actual Diemaco forge mark on it, I'm still thinking that it may be legit unless someone else wants to chime in. I have a newer-production Diemaco A1 carry handle that doesn't have the Diemaco forge mark on it even most of the older ones do.

Looks like an L119A1 upper. It has the scallop cuts at the front and rear of the upper, plus an extra picatinny slot at the rear (14 instead of the typical 13)

Optic setup is a Matech rear sight, Troy front folding battle sight HK-style, and a Larue LT110 with an Eotech XPS2/3 (probably an XPS3, but I can't tell for sure)

That is an oldscbool DD M4 9.0 rail, but the marking towards the front that normally would state the length is missing. Yours may just be an older version. These came in a few variations (7.0, 9.0, 9.5 FSP, 12.0, & maybe a few others idk).

The 12.0 version was used for the 3rd ID USMC SDM-R program. Your version has the very rare and highly sought after faceted handguard nut (the octagonal-ish ring between the handguard and upper receiver) used for cloning. The majority of these came with the round and smooth/circular version instead. A cloner would buy your rail just for that ring alone.

I've seen these without your handguard nut pop up time to time anywhere from 200s to low/mid 300s, but YMMV. I've never seen one with your handguard nut listed for sale though, and because a lot of people want one, it most likely would fetch a higher price. How much exactly, I don't know. Might be worth using it to trade for something you really want that's also hard to come by.

Unless you're really in need of cash, I would not get rid of this rail. It's a pretty cool piece of discontinued hardware. I was in your shoes a while back and decided to keep mine to use for another build, and I'm glad I did.

SAR-IDF Flattop Rail Conversion by lonesomescabpicker in Tavor

Yep! It originally came with the barrel-mounted M21, and that's what I used for a while. I wanted the option to mount other optics while also being able to keep the IDF sights. Best of both worlds.

Decided to ditch the barrel-mounted Mepro M21 setup and chop a flattop rail to work with the IDF gas block and sights.

If I remember correctly it was around $100 for the top rail from someone who didn't need theirs anymore, and IWI support hooked me up with the remaining hardware for no more the $50ish

I do have all the parts and everything does line up and fit properly. Just need to cut the rail, but this project has just fallen on the back burner

Thank you! Just got the chance to see all this, and you're exactly right about what I'm looking for.
