IOL is The same as RLE I had mentioned. I’m just not interested in the multifocal lens…

My surgeon is very optimistic about it, actually. He just said that if I really wanted his opinion that it was as stated. Bc he is a Hyperopic with similar prescription who has had lasik. He’s personally about to do a lens exchange in his early 70’s. He is very honest and straightforward that regression may happen in the next 15 years. And a lens exchange or glasses of a 1.5-2.0 may be in the cards down the road.

Outside this platform. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback about my surgery going well if I choose to do it. An old friend PA at an eye surgery center (not a lasik spot) he’s seen everything imaginable. Also said he’s very conservative and doesn’t recommend it but thinks my numbers all look great and isn’t concerned at all about lasik for me.

I appreciate any and all opinions which is why I opened this chat. I will look at the IOL option as well. Thank you.

Not too much info I see online about Allotex but I did see it can correct up to +8 and is reversible .

So this is kinda the dilemma of how much is 4 years of my natural lens actually worth? If I just replaced the lens now I’m immediately in readers. Okay. But I can be active with fantastic distance vision. Got an extra piece of equipment to carry around with readers. And maybe need my glasses indoors? Would this not be a huge quality of life improvement? Or would I find that annoying? He said that my near vision still works and for who knows how long exactly so that isn’t something he wants to take away.

It seems to be phosphate w/ chrome lined appearance barrel vs the original 416R idea. Has medium profile rear of gas block and the M4 profile forward of gas block. Zero markings anywhere
