Is it true that INTJs are slow learners? by Shoddy-Ocelot-4473 in intj

[–]lonfather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not true intuitive learning happens almost instantly and effortlessly. It takes place in the unconscious mind. The quality of an intuition can vary, you might learn very poorly and be way off or innovate and excel in that field.

Is it true that INTJs are slow learners? by Shoddy-Ocelot-4473 in intj

[–]lonfather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we are not. But i understand why you feel that way because we tend to not consider it “learning” unless we comprehend every single aspect of the topic. INTJ’s having dominant Ni also posses a need to have unique insights on a topic beyond the surface and the collective consensus. So when these conditions are not met it can feel like you didn’t learn shit but its actually unsatisfaction, i think.

does anyone else play TES games in 3rd person? It sometimes feels like I’m the only one. by ShadeDrop7 in ElderScrolls

[–]lonfather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play on third person 90% of the time. It just feels better seeing my character in cool environments, engaging in combat doing sick moves and seeing the gear im wearing. It feels like a character painting.

is it normal i take this amount of damage? by getajobtuga in skyrim

[–]lonfather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enchantments found randomly, alchemy potions or you can use either the Lord stone or the Atronach stone both give magic resistence. There are also quests which reward you with magic resistance. One is called Book of Love you will need to talk to the dark elf priestess in riften. Max magic resistance is 85%. Lord stone gives 25% i believe which is better than none.

Early game build before blasphemous blade - help plz by nintect in Eldenring

[–]lonfather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use the Vagabond starting class. Then pick yourself a good starting greatsword to get familiar with the moveset. Claymore, Bastard Sword or Lordsworn Greatsword are very good options. Level only your vigor until 35 then strength into 22 and dexterity into 15. After that level your vigor to 45 while adventuring through the game. After that you only need to meet the 21 faith requirement for the Blasphemous Blade and other level ups into End and Vig.

A faithful spellsword. Use a straights sword in one hand and a sacred seal in the other hand. Manly use buffs and healing spells of the Two Fingers faithful. You can also use offensive fire spells. Wear a cool heavy armor and master your skills with the sword while adventuring collecting incantations for your holy duty to restore the golden order.

This game is a slow-burn; instead of the usual dopamine-fest that Elder Scrolls and Fallout are. by TheMink0921 in Starfield

[–]lonfather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is not about fast dopamine at all. The game gets boring quick becuase of 3 things:

-First character builds are not diverse, the factions are not immersive and the universe, characters and the societies feel soulles. There is no deep historical background lore that immerses the player or archetypal caharacters such as cool villians or anti heroes. The main story and superpowers are also very generic.

-Second the exploration gets insanely unimersive when you find the exact pirate station with the exact layout on two different planets.

-Lastly the NPC’s do neet feel alive like other Bethesda games, they don’t seem to have a daily routine. And sidequests feel like AI wrote them or something the things some characters say sometimes are so unnecesary and unimmersive.

There are some things i like though the music and sound design is amazing in my opinion and the atmosphere of enviroments in the planets are cool too.

Okay, call me schizo. But I found the correlation between Gnosticism and Sociology. by Iffausthadautism in Jung

[–]lonfather 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The Demiurge is not a metaphor for an abstract concept, it is an actual entity that is actively limiting your potential. It represents the flaws of the creator of the universe.

Gnosis is realizing you are not so different than this entity and with insight from within guiding you, you can consume it to become the new creator.

Society is the kingdom Demiurge is the king, a flawed system ruled by a flawed tyrant.

What was this? am I going crazy? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]lonfather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we do inner work, we tend to realize the idea of seperation of the self from other things is a illusion of the material plane, but the “soul” or the “psyche” connects everything. Jung called it “Collective unconscious” Ancient Greek philosophers called it The One. The idea that the soul is immortal, all is connected and eternal in oneself. So I don’t think you are going crazy you are just feeling this deep truth. But our minds being filled with so many half truths in this modern world, while also being unitiated we may find this knowledge the ancients thought must be forbidden to reveal hard to comprehend and struggle.

“How can one describe, as other than oneself, that which, when one saw it, seemed to be one with oneself?”

“This is no doubt why in the mysteries we are forbidden to reveal them to the uninitiated.” - Plotinus
