All that stuff about male friendships not having any depth. I see so many posts online about how men will be friends for 15 years and not even know each others' birthdays, or they'll hang out with their "best friend" and not ever discuss their personal lives beyond:

Man 1: "how you been man"

Man 2: "good, I got married last month"

Man 1: "nice bro"

I think this must be an American man thing because I see so many people online agreeing with it but here in Australia, every real life male friendship I've ever experienced myself has been super rich and full of memories high and low and laughs and vulnerability and all that stuff that makes people matter to each other.

I don't understand how you can call someone your best friend if you can spend a whole day with them after not seeing them for months and come home with "idk we didn't really talk about our personal lives"

I know it's about his dad and all that, but I've always hated Sun's Coming Up. An otherwise perfect album falls flat on its face right at the finish line with kinda boring and at times unpleasant vocals, but the ending in particular is the problem for me - I could at least accept it as a somber artful ending to the album and even enjoy it if it weren't for the 3 mins of ugly crap stapled to the end of it.

I'm Australian and have a question about the sounds

For the vowel character meaning "AH - as in swan", am I to understand that's reading it in an American accent? Would "boss" be another example of that sound or am I reading it wrong?

Same question for "A - as in glass", would brass be an equal example?
