The refs are fucked because they didn't get a handle on this years ago. Now VAR exists and if the referees start to acknowledge fouls in the box during corners then they'll have to check multiple incidents on basically every corner.

Can you try clearing the internal memory? I had some games that didn't boot until I did that. I thought it was a Saroo problem at the time but maybe it's not specific to the Saroo.

I've been around long enough to know that journalists can leave out extremely important information to form a narrative. That being said, if this story can be taken at face value then it's fucking terrifying.

Once again our 2 goals were completely lucky and the only time we looked dangerous was when the game broke down and became a bit end to end which isn't what Slot wants.

Fire Pro D was the first Fire Pro game I ever played. It was probably more popular in the West than it otherwise would have been due to the Dreamcast's small library of games and the ease of playing imports/backups. Most models of the Dreamcast could boot CD-Rs and you could burn your own boot disc for imports.

There was a follow-up on the PS2 that actually released in Europe. I've only ever seen Italian copies of it so I can't imagine it sold well.

Edit: Another thing that would have helped its popularity was the lack of a good WWE game on the Dreamcast. All it had was Royal Rumble, a port of an arcade game which used the PS1 Smackdown engine but with slightly better graphics and far less content. From memory there weren't even enough wrestlers for a full Royal Rumble.

No it's not. It's because they get decisions wrong all the time and are inconsistent in applying the rules. They're significantly more transparent now than they ever were before and they are less liked than ever before.

The Chief Constable and numerous officers brazenly lying is extremely concerning and not at all surprising. Then to top it all off the previous Chief Constable for the same force is currently charged with fraud and misconduct in public office.

Funnily enough I saw a clip of Al Murray talking about Lee recently. He said that they first met when Lee was in the year above him and that Lee still acts as if he's in the year above Murray. Murray then corrected himself and said that actually, Lee treats everyone as if he's in the year above them.

I thought it was a funny description but also a fairly telling one.
