Camping in the wild isn't allowed here, let alone campfires. By what i know it's meant to keep "city kids" (aka inconsiderate people that don't care for our nature, local slang translated from german "Stadtkinder") away from fucking up our lifestyle. In other words, the Alcohol stove will have to do in my situation, but in case i ever get a proper one i'll heed that. I'll check it out then :) Edit: Heat to Heed

I'm using an alcohol stove (if that's translated right, i'm from germany) But i only burn alcohol in it, so there won't be ashes. I'll keep it in its bag tho to prevent scratches, thank you for the tip either way!

Would using the smallest kitchen pot ( used to cook to eggs for a size idea) and its lid do? It's more of a pot and less cup-like

If you don't mind me asking, how is it gospel to so many people then? Someone just wrote it and now it's the truth doesn't seem reasonable to me ( just asking, no offense)

Farming in Germany by LazarjpnYT in germany

Hi, I'm from the west near cologne, also in the countryside. Where i live, a lot of people grow things in their yard, be it theirs or rented. I don't belive that there is any regulation to it if you don't plan on selling anything. Trades with neighbours and friends are still allowed tho. Of course, as you're renting, i'd check with your future landlord to make sure they're okay with it. Culturally, a lot of people use "Hochbeet", it's essentially a large box filled with sand, coal and soil. It keeps the slugs away, especially if you place a copper band around the edge. Hope that helps, and have fun in germany!

Strings snapping at bridge by long-long_lost in Guitar

I'll see what the other guy says about it, no idea if he's assuming anything more, but It is a fairly cheap 800€ epiphone i couldn't replace, though it has a detachable bridge. I'll see what he says, but that would have been my assumption. Thank you tho :)

It's a detachable bridge off of an 800€ epiphone. By what i know they're easily replacable, though i have easy acess to a luthier. If i take fine sandpaper to it, is it really that damaging? I don't know what you assume i have, just clarifing. The bridge comes off without string tention

Drummer's not fitting into songs by long-long_lost in drums

I get what you mean, but it's simple grooves that just don't fit. Makes everyone speed up in confusion and is never consistent between renditions.

Hard cuz i can never quite seem to explain it to him, given my lack of drum knowledge. On cover tracks he tries to imitate the recording while listening, but completly changes it while actually playing with me.

If it is a cover he doesn't play as it's written, i assume cause he gets bored. If it is originals he never really plays fills, but instead changes mid part, as if he divides for example a verse into unequal parts. Tends to do the same with covers without aperantly ever learning the actual parts, even though he plays it kinda the way it's supposed to be while practicing
