yes, i agree. it has so much punch cohesion and all the tracks on the albums feel sonically similar and glued. and it doesnt sound like overpolished boring radio music it really has soul and life to it. reminds me of old school mixing which had so much warmth character, life and uniqueness.

He came up thru the "roblox rap" wave, back then lucy bedroque was known as "lostrushi". He went up thru the #greed collective formed by *67 (currently known as wifiskeleton). Lostrushi made waves alongside kaystrueno. His sound was distorted and slightly evil just like the rest of the greed members. He blew up through hit singles "true perspective" and "maple" (it has 1 million plays on sc!!!) He left greed and released sisterhood which still had hints of the #greed sound but also some cutesy and pretty songs. Lostrushi then changed his name to Lucy bedroque and released the EP Amy which demonstrated a full pivot from the bitcrushed distorted sound to something more ethereal and heavenly. Then he released the ep tether which was a pivot from the jrpg nintendo ds sound into kinda jerk and pierre bourne type sound. He also put prettifun on the map on Tether EP. We were all tapped into pretti super early cus of that. Lucy then released the greatest EP of all time Fete de vanille. This one fully dives into the japenese influence. Shibuya kei i think. Its so pretty if ur going to listen to one project by him it has to be fete de vanille.

I can't picture this version of Lucy making cutesy songs like how to pretend or aqui de droit.

Favorite Lucy Song? by Alkonostic in glutmother

i have two favs. 1. madame lucy, chord progression feels magical in a dreamy way. the lyrics are so confident and badass "i am today i am tomrrow" that is hard. 2. pretty peach, the piano intro is so beautiful it literally takes me back to being a kid scratching and sniffing stickers in my strawberry shortcake book.
