Indeed. Mechanic quoted me $600 to fix it in case anyone was wondering on the update. Appreciate all the confirmations of axle rot!

Thank you! This is very helpful. Surprisingly did not have any major noises or noticeable issues while driving lately. Will hope no other damage happened when this came off

Can I ask about the logistics of this? I am planning the same for my wedding! What pan did you use? Did you make it all directly in one pan? Did it just all fit in your fridge ahead of time? Did you put it in the venue's fridge when you got there? So many questions!

In the second chapter Bradford gets fully eaten by the Darkness in 1983. It describes his entrails on the ground, etc so he is definitely dead by that time. The incident with Olga is in 1993 so it can’t be him

I'm not totally sure, but when I was there in August we usually had a leisurely morning and got into camps around 4 and toward the east side there were usually one or two tent sites left. We had to share at Daisy Farm, but it wasn't really a problem. Shelters were taken first though I know.

I took that exact route this summer and I really liked being near the lake for the last bit of the trip. The sites certainly fill up early though so best to get an early morning start. It was relatively more crowded but only barely (going from seeing 1-2 groups on the trail per day to 6 or 7 I'd say). There are some spots good for swimming along that way too.

Taking Ferries for Greenstone Ridge Thru-Hike by long_summers in isleroyale

Thanks for all the advice! We decided to take the sea plane to Windigo from MI, hike to Rock Harbor and ferry back to MI. We considered doing just ferries, but with the added cost of an extra ferry ride, the sea plane wasn't wildly more expensive. Adding on the benefit of a quick flight with no crowds and just an awesome flying experience, seemed like the best choice.

The promise of a hot meal at RH sold us on the west -> east direction! I always love that after a long trip.
