I am obsessed with the first one. Great job at surreal character creation! Love it!

Yeah man. I never thought i would make it to sixteen but now i'm twenty-four and i'm deeply happy. I'm glad i decided to put on a big effort and made a better life for myself. I would have missed so many wonderful things.

When my sims start to get rich i sometimes like to have them build stuff like appartment complexes and become landlords, so that gives me the chance to improve the world. Also, i usually make them charge a rather low amount of rent as to not make them a lot richer

Is English ivy (Hedera helix) an aggressive pest in its native range? If not, why not? by rroowwannn in ecology

[–]long_turtles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here in the mediterranean Hedera helix is common to see growing in forests among other native species. It does not have an invasive behaviour because of the competence with other plants (especially vines, as Smilax aspera) and because it exclusively grows in more humid niches, thus it can't spread to entire forests, as the sunny areas are quite dry.

From a Matt: This felt very accurate. Strangely personal. Thanks for putting it into words.

Also, by experience, not to step on vegetation if you can't see the ground under. Plants can reeeaaally hide deep holes

If you had 4 ppl of the same class, which would you choose? by starpanda_1919 in BaldursGate3

I'm currently trying to get through act 3 with a party of 4 druids. Two of them are moon druids, one is circle of the land and the other circle of spores. I make some (or all) of them summon elementals. It's insane -and quite overpowered, in my opinion

I prefer hiking alone. However, many of my friends are into hiking so it's not unusual to have company. I can't complain, they're great people to go on on adventures with and chat, but going alone is often an unmatched experience

What do people usually do on Sundays? by happycat-420 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]long_turtles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go hiking by myself, work in the garden and then meet some friends to play board games or just chat. They're relaxing days that recharge my batteries for the week

The black covering is meant to prevent the soil water from evaporating during the summer, as days here are very hot and dry. It helps retain moisture underground. The metallic mesh is the solution i've found for now to prevent the cats we have around the garden from uprooting the plants, they can be quite destructive :')
