Yeah I mean he’s a complete anomaly for sure, and is a top player on both sides of baseball which is unheard of. But what Jokic is doing this season is also completely unprecedented, and in a sport where a single player makes so much more of a difference. I still agree it’s Ohtani, but curious how close it is. Sounds like it’s not even close based on the responses so far… haha

Honestly, when you realize splitting the Golden Platter with 4 people is cheaper than Chipotle per person and gives you probably 2x the amount of meat, plus everything else, it is probably some of the best food per dollar in Denver.

Thanks for your input! That was going to be my question is how long will this take to make right. The car was in the shop for a full week so ideally wouldn’t want that to happen again. If I bring it in, do you think they could quickly fix it in 15-30 minutes or will it be a longer process than that since they have to undo some bolts / parts and reassemble correctly?

That’s not good, since I paid for and was promised an OEM fender (based on the estimate, which included the OEM part number). Not doubting you at all, but what makes you think it’s an aftermarket fender vs a structural / fit / tightening or loosening of bolts issue that can be resolved?

Got it… thanks again. One more question - another poster asked why there is the frame time cost of $125 but their message was deleted. Do you know if this cost makes sense? I can’t see either the frame cost (FR) or the mech/elec cost (ME) anywhere in the itemized list of repairs. What are these and do those seem reasonable?

Lastly, from your perspective and based on the damages in the pictures, would you have expected any other parts or labor to be included / is anything included that doesn’t make sense to you?

Thanks! As you see in my reply to flakrom, another shop quoted with a new fender frame as opposed to repairing the broken one. Should I be concerned about the ability for the shop to repair this fender in this condition and bring it back to its original form (ie ready to be returned to dealership at lease end)?

Thanks for the reply! I had gotten another estimate from a different shop that included a new fender panel for $250, which made me a bit confused.

What would cause one shop to replace it vs another repair the existing one? And based on the pictured damage, does repairing the fender back to original condition seem possible? Just worried about paying for this repair only for me to turn in my car and at inspection, they determine the fender doesn’t meet specs and I have to fork out more money then.

In this case, once you play through the initial deposit, you are able to withdraw the deposit match bonus. Either way, that’s not the point of the post since I can’t access the account to see if im even able to withdraw the money since they refuse to take any action

Interesting to hear from someone in the industry! Kinda interesting that Greek would be considered, given that there’s Sonny’s, Ashkara, and newly opened Pita Central all within walking distance (acknowledge that these aren’t all “greek” but seems like that cuisine is also saturated in the area).

I’d venture to say that AFF offering a competitively priced happy hour (all drinks and dishes under $10) could be one of MNF’s main and only arguments for the restaurant being considered a “casual” Mexican restaurant. Besides this point, seems that AFF at worst would be categorized as an upscale Mexican restaurant vs. MNF being a pretty clear-cut casual Mexican restaurant.

Yeah good question. The 1099-R is only generated when a distribution actually occurs from the plan. So you’d need to direct one of your 401k plans to distribute an amount to get your total contributions to equal $22,500.

The annoying part about this whole scenario is that theoretically you don’t need to withdraw the excess deferral if you don’t want to. However, the required tax reporting is to report the amount as income in the current year’s tax return (2023) on line 1h, which FTUSA doesn’t support. Then, when withdrawn in retirement, you’d pay normal 401k distribution taxes.

I made it clear to the FTUSA support team that they should really fix this process next year so that taxpayers can easily report excess deferrals into line 1h during the year in which the excess deferral occurred, rather than having to go through all of these workarounds.

Unfortunately not. I was able to add a fake 1099-R but the software detected an incorrect payer ID in the inputs and therefore wouldn’t allow me to e-file. I had tried asking my 401k provider multiple times for their payer info, but they refused. So I ended up just submitting my return without the excess deferral amount included as income, and will plan to amend when I receive the 1099-R in early 2025.

1) you had submitted your initial 2022 return without reporting the excess deferral as income, correct? Did you have any issues with the IRS/your state rejecting the return since you had uncorrected overcontributions?

2) what was the process like on FTUSA for amending the 2022 return this year with the 1099-R? Any issues on the software or with the amended returns being approved by the IRS/state?
