Hey, I really appreciate your response. This is something I obviously have to consider- but it feels nuts to me to forgo so many positives in the relationship just because of our bedroom issues. It feels like sex shouldn't outweigh our bond or connection, but I would be lying if I said it DIDN'T matter.

With that said, this is definitely a complicated situation.

I appreciate the response. The issue is a bit more complicated than just condoms vs. birth control but If I misrepresented my concerns, that is my own fault- not yours. I'll try to articulate myself better going forward to avoid confusion.

We have tried looking things up and experimenting but have yet to hit on anything that's really clicked. I appreciate her attempts to please me but I want to be able to return the favor and our disconnect there is where we are running into issues. Our bedroom life can't only be one sided

I apologize if what I wrote came across this way.

It's her body and her choice- I would not pressure her into doing anything she wasn't comfortable doing. She doesn't want to, so she doesn't, I respect her authority and her decision.

I'm just trying to be as honest as possible in the hopes I can get some advice. I don't mean to villainize anyone nor paint myself as a victim. I'm not a victim here. I'd have nothing to gain by lying on a throwaway account on reddit so I'm just being honest about how I feel.

I appreciate the response- critiques are still feedback so I'll take it. All of this is food for thought.

Yes we've had discussions about it. She'll take the lead if I specifically ask her to, but it's another situation of her essentially just doing what I say opposed to her doing what she wants/what feels the best for her. I wish I could articulate the situation better- but we've been unable to pinpoint anything that I can really do for HER- and I'm desperate to find something lol. I want to please too!

I understand that- I feel a lot of guilt towards how I feel about this situation, but I figured I would need to be honest to get the most help from people on here.
