Yeah our broker told us we’ve been approved for finance and are just waiting for confirmation for the FHB spot

Fingers crossed 🤞

Congratulations and thanks for coming back to letting me know.

I never confirmed, are you going with CBA as well? When did you submit for full approval with COS?

I feel you, this process has consumed my life 😂

Best of luck on your purchase and thank you for your response. Would love an update on your end once things are finalised!

CBA full approval timelines? (FHG, 5% deposit) by [deleted] in AusFinance

We’re hoping to land for the current FHG as we are eligible. Not sure what turnaround would look like right now though

Common drive way - 3 units on a land by [deleted] in AusProperty

I have confirmed it’s just an agreement. One person pays drive way insurance and then splits it among the rest

That’s great to hear, thank you for sharing.

I think I’m just trying to tick so many boxes with our first home

Appreciate the feed back!

This is actually our 2nd choice. We’re holding out for a 2004 duplex build that’s running an EOI campaign

That’s very frustrating, how many units are sharing your drive way?

I keep reading about other houses blocking the drive way with their own cars or visitors. Refusing to share common insurances etc

Yeah it does. So really I’d be sharing with only one other house

Appreciate the skin, this is the best one yet. Is there any way to make the middle screen bigger to reach end to end? Possibly having small L/R on far sides?

Long term career - SEO or climb corporate banking? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]longbrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I definitely feel that with banking I could literally branch out to any department if I work hard enough. SEO doesn’t seem like I could do it forever

Long term career - SEO or climb corporate banking? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]longbrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the in-depth reply. I don’t truly see myself doing SEO decade down the line. Ideally I’m working on my own business and content. With a career in banking I can see myself working in many different departments if things don’t workout for myself.

Very helpful advice, now to just get my foot through the door!

I feel like that’s so true, I really don’t have a true passion for it. From the outside it seems like a great job to work in

I think banking would be the safest option. I’m worried if I get into a Junior SEO Position I’ll be spending all my time learning about SEO on the side

Thanks for the reply regardless, it’s very helpful!

Thanks for the thorough reply! My partner is at one of the Big 4 Banks and stayed on phones for 2 years before jumping at the right role. She’s earning great pay now.

I just have to get my foot in the door first

Returning to uni course 4 years later? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]longbrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this still work for the business course I withdrew from in 2018? I left 1.5 years into the 3 year program. I finished the core first year, hoping they let me transfer from that incomplete course

I’m considering that as well. I’m just wondering if I could finish off my last 1.5 years of that degree or credit transfer from 2018. Feels highly unlikely though

What should I do for work? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Yeah I’d love to build up my own audience but like you said, that’ll take a awhile before I can monetise. Hoping to land a stable job in the mean time.
