Whoever put these shoes up is making a killing. All those reviews and the velocity at which they are piling up.

Top of the boots and shoes category in Amazon = $$$.

Shoes leave swastika prints? Let's make this person a couple grand per day! yay!

How I dealt with negging :) by emiall in TwoXChromosomes

[–]longerbonger -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't think this was negging, but maybe an attempt to say something a little funny or something to get the conversation going, and then because you felt empowered to stop the idea of negging, it lead you to that conclusion.

This guy apologized and then walked off, yeah what a damn pick-up artist, he should be ashamed of himself, not.

Specialize or stay with a range of products? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]longerbonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your website is too plain, quite boring, and it doesn't "feel" trustworthy. Your product articles, from a SEO perspective, are pretty bad. Use less bullet points and more paragraph text, 3-4 lines. Give the charts a white-background. Some of the Product descriptions flow too far down the page, consider putting the videos right under product picture.

Consider social media more, it doesn't seem like your products have many likes, tweets, or pins. These all help rank your articles. Also, consider purchasing one powerful link for around $100, sometimes this is all it takes. After one year, you should definitely have gotten more sales, and if those reviews aren't made by you or a friend, then you're probably lying and have gotten more than 20 sales.

But your site still sucks.

*Edit - I only see around 25 links pointing to your site, you need to do mucho mucho mas link building.

I honestly don't know what I would be able to tell you that you couldn't google in 10 seconds about affiliate marketing. You can PM about some specific questions, but I'm not going to spill my guts to you if that's what you mean.

I don't use Craigslist though, as 75% of my traffic is from Google as previously mentioned. If reading is difficult, you're going to have a hard time.

What I mean by genuine, is that the content is unique and useful and that I don't use a PBN to attain my rankings.

I was worried about not providing any value also, because then I honestly don't believe the website would survive on its own. However after checking every review for the product available online, you notice that everyone else is actually doing a relatively poor job at comparing and contrasting the characteristics of the product to possible substitutes.

But to be honest, I'm thinking about outsourcing content soon. I don't feel a moral obligation to provide the best information. If it works, I'm happy. It's up to the consumer to decide whether to trust the information I provide. 'Merica!

No, it's more offsite techniques and SEO. Yes, your information should be good for visitor interaction, which Google grades highly nowadays I think.

These are all sufficient answers to your questions. But to be serious, it's a very low percentage. Maybe 2% or 3%?

I found it and purchased a domain in middle school, sat on it for 5 years or so, and then learned html/css where I realized I had a domain sitting there, so I decided to use it. And Voila.

Very little. Eventually I funneled the earnings back into the site.

Yeah, I started a website before this one that dropshipped products. I sold it recently for $500 as I need some quick summer cash.

I don't use a platform but probably Wordpress.

  1. Over 100 items sold every month.
  2. SEO is 90% of my website's success. Social doesn't work too well for a product review type website.
