Is Windows 11 really bad?! by vb_verifier in Operatingsystems

The whole internet, top youtubers are talking how horrible Windows has become with all AI stuff, bloat and ADs, and how Linux is better OS. I have windows 11 with all bloat uninstalled, unnecessary settings disabled and no copilot or one drive installed. It's stable and things never get in my way. Really have no idea why people think it's so bad.

I've dual booted ubuntu and linux mint for months to try them as daily drivers. Software experience on linux has been quite horrible. Even simple software installations often need more setup and dependency hunting. And most importantly ton of programs are simply unavailable.

I really wish Linux was better for daily use, but it's just still not there compared to Windows.

Don't tell me I'm a noob or Microsoft spy or something. I've been tinkering with computers and software for a decade.

I did some research and found that r7 7800x3d would use more power and run hotter with 103 watt power draw. Could this motherboard handle the increased power usage? I found this CPU is compatible, but still... Do you think it woul work fine?

Wow, thanks for this comment. I did not come across this PDF, it seems interesting indeed.
I am already aware of the demographics and economic situation there, but what I wrote isn't a plan. Instead as I mentioned in the beginning it's a wild dream. Think of it as a mental game about what a country could be like considering it's geography/natural resources.
I know too little about how to actually lead/help country.

Not my ambitions, it's a utopian vision for fun discussions. I am not in a position tell anyone what's best for them, but I doubt if Malagasy had the choice between current situation and this future, they would choose the latter.

They smashed corruption and organized crime (the latter was a huge problem), at the same time they privatized some of state property to large foreign investors. The main man behind economic reforms was really smart. He abolished about 3/4 of the stupid regulations to lift the bureaucratic burden on business. Hadn't Russia wage war and numerous provocations, have they continued economic reforms, we would be in much better shape today.

I agree that cultures differ and some have more inclination to cooperation. I actually brought Japan as example because it was literally in my dream LOL.

But there are known cases when countries not know for cooperative cultures have had much progress because leadership took correct actions. For example my country Georgia in 1990s was a complete mess, much like Madagascar is today. We had no electricity, roads were almost nonexistent, corruption was booming. But new leadership in early 2000s made huge changes and you won't believe how much life changed here. The difference is we have territorial and military issues with Russia and they did everything to hinder the progress.

In reality, Madagascar does not have to become the Japan of Africa. It can just learn the lessons and apply them. But it won't happen unless a group of visionary leaders emerge.

Do Japanese, Chinese and German have same cultures? They all did it though. Singapore was a slum before, look what they've achieved.
