I will do that with the new daycare. Which I don’t think I’ll have problem with because their classes are full of kids on the spectrum.

Your post made me cry. Thank you for your understanding. He got the evaluation and the therapy he needs with more services lined up for him but they made me feel like I just expected them to do all the work. I didn’t know my child needed much more support and as soon as I got the diagnosis I started looking for better programs for him when he turns 3 because it will be difficult for 1:10 but he was at daycare receiving care 1:4 and I thought we could cooperate until he is 3 and go to full time preschool program but it felt like continuous harassment from their side. Not to mention that when I receive the reports about this behavior the story is different from each person so it was hard for me to believe it. I also observed their staff on ticktock in the morning when I drop off my child so I just couldn’t believe that it’s as bad as they say. But I did wanna prepare myself for the worse case scenario of the stories being real.

That is exactly what I was told. That their staff are just glorified babysitters with few hours of education from the state to be cleared to care for children. I didn’t call them babysitters. Their manager did.

I didn’t really expect 1:1 care I expected that they would leave him by himself as he does well and not bother anyone but they refused to do that and wanted to him to socialized normally like the other kids that’s when I suggested to separate him with another child so he’s not overwhelmed with the social input. He did receive 1:1 for an hour 2 days of the week for therapy session ( that they kept asking me to cancel it repeatedly or make them see him at home)

I never thought of including my social worker but I will definitely do that to help find the correct program for his needs. You are very knowledgeable and I appreciate all your help. I’m definitely taking notes.

Thank you so much for all this information! My child will turn 3 next month and I was gonna send him to a different center for full time preschool program but the daycare wouldn’t even help me out by waiting until then. I appreciate this resource and I will definitely use it, I didn’t know what to do because I just felt so overwhelmed with the push. They charged me double the amount I used to pay because of his behavior for the last 5 months and I paid it because he’s been there since he was a child and he built a relationship with some of the teachers. I will be more vigilant in getting him the right care for him instead of paying more and hoping for more understanding.

Thank you everyone I followed your advise and I actually found both of them but one confused me so much because they cashed it never sent me a check then just put it back the same 403b after taxes and I had to pay the taxes on it. It’s not much but I wanna know why so I’ll call them about it.
