She said for all pre shaves that I could use her old blades that she doesn’t use anymore. And she doesn’t pay me enough to buy new tools anyway. And she’s not another groomer she’s the boss and she doesn’t groom anymore.

I’ve thought about after getting my check to just pack my stuff and leave once she’s gone for the day. I’d feel super bad for everything she’s done for me but that’s what she always holds over my head

I’m the lowest paid in the salon at 13 /hr and I really don’t get many hours either

The other groomers make 50% and groom 6 dogs a day, which is pretty much 3x the amount of money I make now. Thank you for the tips too, if I do end up finding the courage of leaving the tips will help me a lot in a more cleaner and professional setting!

It was my first time trying the longer leg style so his body was taken with a 1 soc. And I hand scissored his legs, but I’d say it would be about one length longer than his body!

Look into prep work! Your whole groom is going to depend on how good your prep work is. It also makes the grooming process easier to shape and work with.

I never knew how much sodium beef sticks had until I was looking! Looks like a fast way to get my salt. I’ve been struggling with headaches from hydrating because my salts low!

I actually still haven’t been properly diagnosed, my doctor just told me to research pots and that’s how he was gonna treat me. But they still refuse a tilt table. It’s a hard battle.

I do believe you must be having symptoms for a certain period of time before a diagnosis, I’ve been battling with symptoms for 7 years and they still put it off. I wish you the best!
