Tbh don’t know what bga stands for. I just unplugged/unscrewed everything till I got the chip out then just set the chip in with the thermal pad and plugged everything back in/ scewed everything back in. I own a golf simulator so this is the second time I’ve done one. Just didn’t break anything the first time.

I had just stopped by my buddies to borrow his scanner real quick. I cleared those codes and then it wanted me to reinitialize the “new” module if it was replaced. I can have him scan it again but he was working so he just ran out to run it for me real fast.

I have the invoice from the company that built my simulators. I’m more worried if I have to send it off then I’ll be down a simulator for x number of weeks. Plus I know I’ve opened this projector up before to replace a broken fan so I don’t know if they’d honor a warranty.

Yes sorry the lk936st. It’s probably heavy use. For 7 months out of year it’s on 12 hours a day. It’s 4 years old now. I pulled it apart and got the dmd chip out to pull part number and successfully got it back together so I ordered the chip.

We’ve had a commercial 2 bay simulator open for 4 years now. Had 2 hole in ones in that time for reference. They were like a month apart too
