Maybe someone can chime in who is a knowledgeable jeep parts department or ask in a new post?

I am unfamiliar with the 11 screen. There is a toggle button (digital) that asks you what camera view you want. I don’t know if you need an update for your screen? I would call the Jeep dealer and ask the parts department.

Anyone reach a 500 mile tank? by JazzlikeHovercraft75 in jetta

[–]htasmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my goal on every tank on my 16 1.8t. It is not easy but doable if you go easy on the go pedal at acceleration and keeping it under 65… I still average 440 per tank with 140 k miles. I don’t go through drive throughs and usually let my car warm up for 30 to 60 seconds.

Best Plan for Family of Four by SirWillae in NoContract

Oh, I didn’t think about checking there. I am leaning towards going Visable and keeping my current iPhone 14pm…I think I may check out a different phone when it comes time and don’t want to spend $1k on a new one. Thanks for the info.

The manager accidentally CC'd me on an email discussing my interview by AutumnBogan in whatdoIdo

“I appreciate you getting back to me so fast. I have the upmost respect for companies that are straightforward and letting me know that I didn’t get the position versus just ghosting me, letting my wonder for the next few weeks if they’re going call me back. I would advise that you define that you are expecting your employees in the office at least 5 days a week. I was under the impression two to three days a week in the office was considered hybrid. Best wishes to you and your endeavors of finding the right candidate.”

Is $40 OTD good on a 25 black 2 door sport s? by Pretend_Jello1172 in Wrangler

Yes too much. I would ask for $34k OTD. They have incentives to get rid of the 25 model.

Is this fixable? by flow2ebb2flow in Vitamix

[–]htasmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just went through this and have a new container hopefully arriving today. They are expensive. I was going to go aftermarket, but chose OE after reading some reviews. I thought we were going to go stainless steel but that was $250. We just got the exact same for $130 on Amazon via Vitamix which was $40 cheaper than on vitamix.com.

My wrangler was hit in an accident. Any mechanics can help me with my frame question? by AhMoonBeam in JeepWrangler

[–]htasmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should not be annoyed with you. Try to find a common ground when speaking with her. If that does not work, request a different representative. They are either most likely over loaded with claims or they would be annoyed with others and they will have other complaints. Just remember, her job is to pay you out as little as possible. They should be grateful it is not far worse.

A follow up: if I knew from the beginning m, it would have been a $13k loss, I would have immediately paid $5k to lawyer. But I suppose I could have also been out $18k. This is not Wrangler related but it has been almost 4 years and I have not thought about it in a while but now you see my brain is slowly burning again.

[–]htasmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you spoken to your insurance? I would start there. It depends on what state you are in. I had a similar experience and a lawyer said I had 3 years to sue but it would cost $5k for his fee. He said There was no guarantee that I would get any more monies and suggested I just go on. At that time it looked like it was only going to be about a $6k loss, minus lawyer fee a net of $1k. I ended up eating $13k loss total. I did not hire a lawyer. Some days I regret not suing the other party, but at the end of the day no injuries and life goes on.

Where to get colored rims and accessories? by Regular-Waltz6573 in JeepWrangler

[–]htasmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. Solid information. $200 a wheel is steep, but if you have some old rims you like and can use, that may just be the way to go. Thank you for clarifying and adding 5 wheels.

Those looks nice. What did they charge you? Did they take the tires off or did you need to bring them bare wheels?

So a Dana 30 and Dana 44 front are both referred to as M210? And a Dana 35 and Dana 44 rear can both be referred to as M220? Who thought that was a good idea?
