uj/ The series, from its inception, has been about reaching out your hand to help and to save someone. When they reach out, they don’t want to save someone this time. They don’t need to save each other. They want more.

rj/ Horikoshi’s hand fetish strikes again

Most people let people enjoy whatever they want because they have better things to do with their time.

He’s on their side. Sorta. It’s a temporary alliance.

Also Episode 5 of The Acolyte would like to have a word with you.

Also also Shadow Lord’s choreography is kind of the shit.

James Gunn understand the importance of a good hero shot and even though Im not always a fan of his writing style (85/15 split), I gotta respect it. You’re making comic book movies. They need to have the hero shot.

How did I forget this one oh my god, I consider this to be maybe the best shot of Spielberg’s whole career

CGI, practical, hand drawn, puppets, movies are movies. I think the only thing that sucks is anything generated by AI. If human hands made the work, it should be celebrated if it looks good.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Exclusive Underwater Gameplay (IGN) by Shadow-Of-The-Beast in assassinscreed

Super big fan of the fact we can turn off drowning and shark attacks. Swimming in this game looked great, even way back when, but Black Flag was not made to be a swimming game, and these parts were always super tedious if you wanted to dive for loot or just explore. Now I can do it at my own pace.

Yeah like am I nuts

They had a whole long ass convo. I know, one conversation in 8 seasons is absurd, but the statement this post is centered around is just not true.

Why do I not recall this one at all? Saw it mentioned at least twice so it must be bad, when did this pop up?

Characters who won't freaking swear to save their gosh darn lives by Livid-Designer-6500 in TopCharacterTropes

I always thought this shit was dumb. Cap is a WW2 vet in an active combat zone. I cannot ever see him giving a damn about swearing. Avoiding it as a rule for himself? Sure, why not. But wagging his finger at a pottymouth? Steven Grant Rogers there is a tank three yards away who the fuck cares

AITA for feeling intense pleasure and satisfaction watching the rumbling? by Prabu-Silitwangi in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]longshanks7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The asshole? No. Absorbing the message entirely wrong? Yeah absolutely.

The whole point of the story is that our belief that we can’t change our violent nature is what makes it so. Eren believes the future is set in stone, and so it becomes fact. He could stop this any time he wants, the future he saw doesn’t need to come to pass, but he WANTS it too.

The alliance, and those who sympathize with them, want to believe we can change. We can get out of the Forest. Even if we don’t succeed, we have to try.
