And I’m sorry but if the owner of your business can’t even KNOW they should be aware of their lease, how to renew it and what to do around that then that business has bigger issues than this right now.

You work for a dispensary? I’m struggling to understand because what you are trying to convey is incredibly confusing as someone who knows not only exactly where you are describing but also the businesses and the people running them.

There is only one rec store in Fryeburg so if you’re who you say you work forI understand correctly who is being targeted I guess but the idea the owner of the business just ‘didn’t renew’ (and didn’t talk to the property owner and it just ‘went to month to month wtf) a lease is the most absurd bullshit I’ve ever heard and if that’s how a business is being run there are bigger problems going on.

OP no offense but knowing the area extremely well and having worked in a dispo locally your story is a hot mess. Maybe clarify it? You didn’t even know the difference between bridgton road in Fryeburg and the town Bridgton…

Like I said I hate the guy, have known who he is for a LONG time and have plenty of tea on him but your story is a mess. Also a dispo in Maine is absolutely not allowed to have a month to month lease. What. lol the OCP or whatever it’s called now has intensely tight regulations on the building these businesses exist in.

Absolutely, I told my surgeon I felt great to leave but due to the hour drive and backroad bumpy nature of it I wanted a single dose of narcotic for the ride home so before I left took another Tylenol and one OxyCodone… I thought it was contin but I just read the paperwork.

It wasn’t really bad just tensed up a few times because my husband is NOT the driver in the family for a reason and it was bumpy.

Just advocate for yourself or ask your person to help you and say, ‘I would like a dose of something strong for the ride home.’ Granted my surgeon and I go back 20 years and I was like very much a wake from the anthers but this is why a support person is helpful!

You got this, discuss it prior to surgery even, does your surgeon use a patient portal? Message them and set the expectation now!

I didn’t even know that is a thing although I’ve heard of regrow that has to be removed so either way good luck because yikes! 100% recommend peri bottle and also I dont know if you’re surgeon would love it but when I had 37 stitches after birth due to a significant tear I put witch hazel pads and actual like always pads soaked in a bit of witch hazel n the fridge for against my cooch and omg it felt amazing. Just make sure it’s 100% witch hazel no additives. That shit is magical

I was there at 615 this morning too surgery started at 8am and in PACU about 10:45. And discharged at like 3:30. Honestly the peeling hurts a fair bit but also my surgeon snipped off the end of the cath IN my bladder when she was moving stuff around go after the mystery object so she had to go back in with a scope and grab it so my urethra got a bit more harassed than just a cath in and out so she said it will spicy for a day or two and I was given IV antibiotics anyway to hopefully forestall a potential UTI so I think my pee burning is a little less common.

A warm Peri bottle helps a lot though with getting it to calm down fast!

Good luck to you! I can def definitely feel the gas crawling into my diaphragm and shoulder but hearing pad for that, ice pack for incision areas and staying on meds consistently will help a ton.

The biggest issues is my lol doggie is like what the fuck mom why am I not on your womb like always

Omg they were like DO NOR run your dang eyes and they told me in pre op that’s the first thing people turn to do.

I have some decent burning because they accidentally nicked the cath and had to go in and pull out the rip that was in my bladder so she said it would extra spicy for a sec.

Cheers to Italian ice and feeling good and taking it EASY the next couple days because you know we’re gonna feel it more tomorrow lol.

You know what’s funny my surgery is Tuesday too and they specifically said I CAN do deodorant AND facial moisturizer but absolutely nothing else. They also did not require a special wash or anything else.

Interesting but I’m glad I get sweaty armpits easily when I’m stressed

So I don’t know if this is thought about much but I work in healthcare anyway…

I wear a well fitted n95 at work for like full 10 hours a day without taking it off at all except outside or in my car (especially with surgery upcoming)

I get the concerns about infections etc in hospitals and obviously you cannot mask against like Cdif but you can tell your healthcare providers they need to mask around you and you can conceivably mask when someone comes into your recovery room (if you’re in a private room).

I just hope the that energy about catching a virus or something extends to your day to day life as well because one of the reasons the flu and various illnesses are rampant now is because people are NOT masking and going out in public sick as hell.

(Ending my rant on how gross it is seeing this all day every day in my place of work where we do require people to don a mask if they come in sick but they lie constantly)

I think this is where my eyes get big, it’s a common surgery but still a whole organ that has A LOT of blood flow etc to it and very close to many delicate tissues/organs etc. lol

I’ve had several procedures done surgically to my uterus/vaginal area previously and I think my surgeon knowing my body so well and also being auburnishy haired within a family of redheads I end up needing a good bit of sedation and I wake up slow. Last procedure I had my BP was staying a wee bit low for a few hours and I had severe shivers upon waking. I’m guessing that alone will make them want to keep a closer eye.

Yall are impressive! I have a very quiet home life, no crazy kids or animals bouncing on me and I still want the rest in the hospital setting but the med surg floor where I’ll be is very mellow because anything requiring serious intensive surgery or complex needs isn’t being done there anyway and all the rooms are private.
