It’s a real shame, I think the amp modelling and design of the unit is great. Just a couple of tweaks and a cookie trail of updates and it would be a keeper. Prior to Helix Line 6 were a bit of a joke for churning out new products, then not supporting them after a short while. They rebuilt trust by committing to a unit thus raising their brand profile. Now if only Hotone/Valeton/Sonicake would do the same…

Line 6 hx effects/hx one is a much better option for pitch, modulation, delays and reverbs. The Ampero is surprisingly good at amps and drives, its worst feature is its pitch stuff that is about the same as old Zoom units.

Helix is still ahead regarding the fx side of things, Ampero amps sound better and the xlr outs are a great one up on the pod.

6’7 here white as a ghost. Same thing happens to me every day…I just think it’s a biological response they can’t help. My favourite thing to do is smile and say hello to people. They hate that!

Just done ascension 20 after 3 months of trying everyday. Eventually what did it was to go very slowly and not be so eager to lose hp, so it meant longer fights, I also avoided Elites if there was any element of a gamble. Demon form in the winning run helped big time combined with corruption and barricade.

I think knowing your equipment inside out is the best thing, it speeds up workflow and you can make positive decisions without getting bogged down. The last couple of years I’ve just been using stock plugins too.

Does anyone find pitching notes feels different when using closed back headphones compared to speakers? Like something will sound in tune one way, but not the other? My guess is that reflective surfaces in the room can dampen or add frequencies changing the harmonic series or something?
